2019 Ghana Music Awards UK : Full List Of Winners



The Ghana Music Awards UK came off successfully on Saturday 5th October 2019 at the Discovery Center, Jenkins Lane, Barking-London.

The fourth edition of the award scheme witnessed Ghanaian musicians awarded for their hard work.

The event saw a host of celebrities including Samini, Bless, Flowking Stone, Article Wan, Countryman Songo among others.

There were also some electrifying performances from artists who passed through the event.

Shatta Wale bagged three awards while Sarkodie also won two awards on the night.

King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Medikal, Akwaboah and others won some awards at the 2019 Ghana Music Awards UK.

Prophet Albert mc-Williams wins Promising Gospel Artiste in Africa @ The INTERNATIONAL AFRICA ACHIEVERS MERIT AWARDS [IAAMA 19] Which happened on the 27th July 2019 @Airport west hotel.

The international African achievers merit awards is to celebrate excellence and people who have contributed to the development of their community, town or country.
This year is the 8 edition.

They did these awards in some African countries such as Kenya, South Africa, Senegal, Nigeria, and Ghana.

This year, they nominated the following personalities: IGP of Ghana Police service, Gender Minister, the chief imam, South Africa ambassador, and Un ambassadors.

Among the big winners for the night, Prophet Albert mc-Williams has crowned the Promising Gospel Artist in Africa.

Prophet Albert mc-Williams is a great Gospel artist from Ghana.

He has been making major impacts both here in the Ghana markets and in the International scene which has won him some credible honours and awards.

According to him, He really took time to promote himself and the Ghana gospel music worldwide whiles he was also recording other songs which really lead to his silence from the scene for some time, but he is now back for good whiles his doors are open to any event bookings.

Stonebwoy and Burna Boy have just been announced as Major Opening Acts for Afro Nation GHANA Festival DAY ONE on December 27, 2019. Both global icons performed on the same stage earlier this summer in Portugal for the European chapter of the festival which recorded over 22,000 attendees.

Medikal, Falz, Wendy Shay, The Compozers, Fire Boy and Tione Wayne have also been listed as major acts for Afro Nation GHANA day one performer.

The 4-day Music & Arts Festival is not just star-studded but a very well crafted long weekend rave with the inclusion of multi-nationals parading at Laboma Beach in Accra.

Shatta Wale, Kofi Kinaata, Davido, Wizkid, Eddy Kenzo, Kidi, R2Bees, Efya, La Meme Gang, Zlatan, Mayorkun, D’Banj, Kuami Eugene, and many more others have been listed for the long weekend festival at Laboma Beach in Accra.

Being its maiden edition, Afro Nation GHANA officially stages from December 27th to December 30th this year as publicized across varied networks. As this year is the “Year Of Return”, it only makes a lot of sense that you get along with your family, friends, and colleagues for this scintillating experience.

Afro Nation is an all-inclusive music and arts festival meant to celebrate and eulogize African culture across various continents, not just Africa. Ghana has been chosen for the maiden edition during the Yuletide.

About 15,000 patrons are expected for this festival in Ghana but some entertainment pundits anticipate the numbers are very likely to shoot up. Bride Goes Viral As She Arrives At Her Wedding In A Giant Inflatable Balloon | PHOTOS



A Nigerian bride has gone viral and even made it to international publications after she arrived at her wedding anniversary in a giant inflatable balloon.

Event planner Reverence, from Nigeria, wanted to celebrate her tenth wedding anniversary with her husband, Joseph Efoma-Oruerio in style. She wanted a unique entrance so she did just that.

She ordered a giant inflatable balloon to make her grand entrance into the venue, even if it cost her $500 and had to be shipped from Dubai.

At the reception, which held in Warri, Nigeria, Reverence shocked her guests as she rolled in with the transparent ball.

Reverence, 35, and husband Joseph, 51, invited friends and family to celebrate the special day with them.

She said: “The idea came from watching my kids playing in the pool with a balloon. I started thinking of how a bride could make an entrance into her wedding in a balloon. I searched online for life-size balloons and eventually bought one from Dubai for $500.

“It was the first time the guests saw a bride in a balloon, they screamed so much with excitement. It was the highlight of the event.”
