The Ghana Premier League has been halted as a result of an injunction issued by Ashantigold against the Football Association.
The demoted club served the Ghana Football Association with an injunction on Wednesday, forcing the league to be suspended until October 14.
The Motion on Notice for Injunction will be decided next month, which means that the clubs and sponsors will have to wait for the outcome in order for the top flight to continue.
Matchday four games will not be played this weekend unless the FA gives the go-ahead.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association has urged all stakeholders to remain calm, including clubs, players, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
The Football Association demoted Ashantigold to Division Two after they were found guilty of match fixing.
The Miners were suspended from Ghana Football on Wednesday morning as a result of their dealings with banned officials Dr Kwaku Frimpong and his son Emmanuel Frimpong.
