Adekunle Gold, a popular singer, has got a branded Manchester United jersey particularly customized for him by Adidas.
The ‘Something Different’ singer posted a video to his Instagram Stories showing him receiving the jersey with the phrase, ‘Tio Tequila.’
He was happy to get the gift from Adidas, which arrived on Wednesday as his favorite team, Manchester United, defeated Tottenham 2-0 in the Premier League.
Adekunle Gold claimed to have ended the curse and to be pleased to wear the clothing as a supporter of the English soccer team.
The Grammy-winning musician thanked the Adidas staff and called the present “lovely.” He was spotted hugging and shaking hands with the salesperson for the clothing line as she handed him the jersey.

Adekunle was born in Lagos State, Nigeria, into a royal family. Following his graduation from Lagos State Polytechnic, he earned a Higher National Diploma in Arts and Design. Adekunle became interested in music as a child after hearing songs by King Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey.
