Ghana has dropped out of the top ten African countries in the FIFA ranking for October 2022.
Ghana, which did not make the top ten in the August rankings, remained in 11th place.
While the Ghana region ranked 11th in Africa, it was ranked 61st in the world, trailing countries such as Panama, Northern Ireland, Finland, and Venezuela, which did not qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana’s position is due to their performance during the September international break, during which they lost 3-0 to Brazil and won 1-0 against Nicaragua.
Senegal leads the CAF top ten, followed by Morocco, Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria, Egypt, Cameroon, Mali, Ivory Coast, and Burkina Faso in that order.
Meanwhile, the top ten list remains unchanged, with Brazil at the top, Belgium second, Argentina third, France fourth, and England, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Denmark sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth, respectively.
Ghana is ranked last out of the 32 countries competing in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
