Buzzing Nigerian musician, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, better known within the showbiz space as Bella Shmurda has opened up on some of the dreams he had before making a name for himself in the country’s music scene.
Bella Shmurda claimed that he had desired YBNL president, Olamide would sign him to his musical company in an interview with YouTuber Korty for her online series, “Flow with Korty.”
He explained that he needed someone to walk him through the specifics of the career path he was about to take.
The singer said;
“I didn’t study the market. I didn’t study anything. In fact, at that point I didn’t know anything about music really. All I just know is that I can sing.
“At a point, I wished Olamide signed me because everything was just rough for me. I didn’t know who to really ask. Nobody to really put me through.”
Bella Shmurda also admitted that if he had known then what he knows now, he would have been well off.
He added;
“At least, I know some things now that if I had known then, I think I’ll be better off”
A few days ago, Bella Shmurda announced the completion and release date of his forthcoming studio album captioned, “Hypertension”.
Taking to the bird app via his verified handle on Thursday, October 20, 2022, Bella Shmurda shared a short promotional video announcing the tracklist of the upcoming project. The 15-tracked body of work features Popcaan, Victony, Omah Lay, Phyno, Simi, Pa Salieu, and a host of others.
He wrote; “I’m overwhelmed, hope you are too? My debut album is on the way, out of thousand songs, I selected the bests for you, put alot into it, still delayed a lot for it, can’t thank you all enough for the whole ride. Where we still dey go far ! Oct 26, we go live! Pre-Save Link on bio !!! ”
