Kevin Spacey has just won a major victory in the sex abuse lawsuit filed by actor Anthony Rapp… because he was found not liable.
Following a two-week trial, the jury reportedly deliberated for less than an hour on Thursday.
As previously reported, the “Star Trek: Discovery” actor filed a $40 million lawsuit against Spacey in 2020, claiming he met the disgraced actor in 1986 while performing on Broadway in “Precious Sons.”
Rapp claims Spacey invited him, who was 14 at the time, to a party at his East Side Manhattan home. Rapp claims Spacey made an unwanted sexual advance on him without his consent, grabbing his buttocks, lifting him onto a bed, and laying on his body.
Spacey denied the allegations in court, claiming that Rapp made up the story because he was jealous of his success in the industry.
