Kylian Mbappe wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain this January and can join Liverpool, according to bombshell reports from Spain.
World Cup winner Mbappe is said to be unhappy in the French capital, with Spanish publication Marca going as far as to say his relationship with PSG has completely broken down after he asked to leave the club permanently in July.
The publication claims that Mbappe previously struck a deal with PSG during talks over his future where he agreed on a condition that he would not leave the French giants for Real Madrid. The forward was expected to join Los Blancos in the summer but had an eleventh-hour change of heart and penned new terms with his current side.
According to Marca, Mbappe would be allowed to join Liverpool as this doesn’t breach the condition, but whether the Reds would have the financial muscle to make such a deal happen remains to be seen.
Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of the young Frenchman and even held talks with him in the summer before the forward decide to commit his future to PSG.
“We talked a little bit, but not too much. We talked a little bit,” Mbappe told the Telegraph. “I talked to Liverpool because it’s the favourite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool. I don’t know why you will have to ask her!
