Social media users have continued to react to tweets made by popular Nigerian worship singer and songwriter, Frank Edwards. The Enugu-born artist attributed the Nigerian leadership problems to selfishness and betrayal on the part of the leaders and those being governed!
He disclosed that the perennial corruption bedeviling the country can’t be tacked easily simply because both the looters and the people whose treasury is being stolen equally make requests from the proceeds. This then makes them to sing praise the corrupt individuals who actually have destroyed their future!
The singer tweeted: “The problem here is selfishness and betrayal. People actually know the ones stealing from, and destroying Nigeria. But once they collect the peanuts for themselves from those people, they start to sing the praise of someone who has destroyed their children’s future”
