Singer, Harrysong Released From Police Custody

Nigeran Singer, Harrysong has now asked Nigerians to say prayers for him following his release from police custody.

The artist begged his followers to pray for him on his Twitter page, no matter where they were in the world.

In his words:

“PLS SAY A PRAYER FOR ME. WHERE EVER YOU ARE.. JUST A PRAYER , WITH LOVE. #CHICHONTHIN.”

The musician was detained at the airport the morning of October 11th, 2022, as soon as he arrived in Lagos.

His detention was based on the slander of music executive Soosberekon after it was stated that Soso had murderous intentions in Port Harcourt.

When he apologized to Sosoberekon on October 12th, he was allowed to leave.

Harrysong explained that it was only a mistake in a post-release interview, but they are now friendly again.

A Nigerian singer, composer, and instrumentalist by the name of Harrysong, Harrison Tare Okiri gained notoriety when his song honoring Nelson Mandela won the 2013 The Headies “Most Downloaded Callertune Award.” Harrysong, who has Ijaw ancestry, was born in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, but moved to Lagos in 2007 after spending some of his early years there.
