Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, a rising singer, songwriter, and dancer, has revealed that she lacked confidence in herself when she wrote the song Rush.
The 19-year-old singer revealed in an interview that, despite growing up as a confident person, she caved in while writing “Rush.”
She was insecure about herself and wanted to discover who she was without apology, which led to the creation of the song.
Last week, “Rush” clinched the number 1 spot on Apple music, but is now at number 5.
