The Ashanti Regional Director of the NSS has been invited for investigations over his handling of friction between his daughter, a medical officer, and a nurse.
Alex Opoku-Mensah is reported to have stormed the Manhyia Hospital to verbally abuse a nurse for allegedly correcting his daughter’s wrongful prescription for a two-year-old convulsion patient.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) described the incident as “unfortunate” and vowed to get to the bottom of the matter.
