Cyril Ramaphosa, the president of South Africa, has been chastised for displaying subtle racial favoritism.
This became clear after he ignored, or rather, refused, a handshake with his own black people.
Mr. Ramaphosa only shook hands with white people when she was greeted at the airport, according to a video that has sparked outrage on social media.
He then avoided exchanging pleasantries with the African officials who had gathered to greet him, instead raising his hands and waving.
When he came across other white people, he gladly shook their hands and chatted with them.
Following the obvious display of racial favoritism, many are criticizing President Cyril Ramaphosa for dismissing the Black people of which he is genetically and biologically a part.
