Ghanaian Afropop and R&b singer, Camidoh has revealed that the returns he made on his 2022 hit single “Sugarcane” could have been more.
According to Camidoh, his team invested a lot to make “Sugarcane” a global hit song, however, he believes the return they had on the investment could have been more.
In a new interview with Zeinat on Ameyaw TV, Camidoh stated;
“For starters it is cool, but I could have made more, I’m actually not satisfied not to say I’m ungrateful but I could have made more. The whole point of like my life and my career is to inspire other people, I’m really kicking on like making sure everything I do inspires people and not to throw dust in their eyes, don’t cap, just keep it real, so I feel like I’ve made some cool money which is like going back into my career, obviously but I could have made more.”
Camidoh’s big breakthrough came in December 2021 when he released the viral hit single, “Sugarcane”. The song shot Camidoh to stardom and when the chart topping “Sugarcane” remix featuring King Promise, Mayorkun and Darkoo dropped in April 2022.
