The Cairo Governorate cleared 'Ezbet Abu Qarn,' the largest slum area adjacent to Old Cairo, and transformed it into a beautiful city.
A total of —- 16 out of 22 properties owned by citizens —- with a total of 140 families were demolished during the demolition.
Residents were relocated to safer areas where they were assured of a higher quality of life and services they could not previously access.
