Ghana's Amapiano King, Mark Kwesi Arthur popularly known as DJ Azonto has slammed critics who have accused him of wearing female dresses.
In a recent interview on Onua TV with Mona Gucci, the One Prayer crooner made it clear that he has never worn female dresses
The Fa No Fom hitmaker who is also known for his unique style of female outfits, after the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has been criticized by some people for his choice of clothing. Some have even gone as far as to accuse him of being gay
However, DJ Azonto has strongly denied these accusations. Talking about the ladies outfits, DJ Azonto says he has always been a fan of traditional African clothing and that he has always worn traditional African clothing to sell the continent and our beautiful culture
The Fa No Fom hitmaker also said that he believes that everyone should be allowed to express themselves anyway they want and appreciates the fact that after the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, he has become the most booked and expensive Ghanaian artiste
According to DJ Azonto he now charges over GH₵100k for a show.
"When I go to shows, I am paid GH₵100k. There is this show I am about to attend and the person has sent me half payment. I am currently waiting for the full payment which has been promised to be settled soon. I am currently the hottest and highest-paid artiste in Ghana. Nobody takes the amount I take for shows," he said.
He has a new song out with actor cum musician Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win dubbed "One Prayer" which is currently a street anthem and a new one with Abochi dubbed "Kokonte"
