This is according to statistics provided by Spotify to World Music Views (WMV) on Tuesday.
Second on the list is Asake's 'Work of Art,' third is Burna Boy's "I Told Them...", and fourth is Rema's "Raves and Roses."
Other albums in the top ten for 2023 include Amaarae's 'Fountain Baby' at #5, Olamide's 'Unruly' at #6, Mohbad's 'Blessed' at #7, Adekunle Gold's 'Tequila Ever After' at #8, Joeboy's 'Body & Soul' at #9, and Bnxn's 'Sincerely, Benson' at #10.
Most Streamed Afrobeats Songs For 2023
On Spotify, Davido's "Unavailable" featuring Musa Keys is the most streamed Afrobeats song. Since its release, the song has dominated the music landscape as well as almost all social media platforms.
Victony's "Soweto" (with Don Toliver, Rema, and Tempoe) is ranked second on Spotify, followed by '22' by JayO at third, 'Charm' by Rema at fourth, and 'People' by Libianca (featuring Ayra Starr and Omah Lay) at fifth.
'City Boys' by Burna Boy is number six, while 'Link Up' by Metro Boomin, Don Toliver, and Wizkid - Link Up ft. BEAM & Toian from Spider-Verse Remix (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse) is number seven. Asake's 'Lonely At The Top' is at number eight, Davido's 'FEEL' is at number nine, and Libianca's People (Sped Up Version) is at number ten.
