Chris Hughton, Black Stars' head coach, has been eradicated of his duties.
The Ghana Football Association published a three-sentence statement late Tuesday evening.
"The Ghana Football Association wishes to announce that Chris Hughton has been relieved of his duties as head coach of the senior National team with immediate effect," the Ghana Football Association said in a statement.
It further stated that the Executive Council has decided to dissolve the Black Stars' technical team.
"The Ghana Football Association will in the coming days provide a roadmap on the future direction of the Black Stars."
This decision came after the Black Stars were eliminated from AFCON 2023 after failing to win any of their three group matches.
