Herbert Wigwe, the CEO of Access Holdings Plc and co-founder of Access Bank, has been reported dead.
He was 57.
The renowned Nigerian banker and entrepreneur, along with some members of his immediate family, were reportedly killed in a helicopter crash late Friday in California, United States of America.
According to several media reports, he was on board the ill-fated helicopter with his wife, son, and three other passengers.
According to reports, the Eurocopter EC130 helicopter crashed near Nipton, California, around 10:00 p.m. local time, and the nearby San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department learned of the incident at 10:12 p.m. local time.
