A Young Ghanaian DJ Speaks On Problems Confronting Ghana’s Security And The Way Forward

Published

on

Security in this country only regulates the ordinary Ghanaian especially those without the influential support from people of social status or class in society to back them during crime related issues.

Meanwhile, there are issues that need immediate attention, like unemployment among the growing youths, lack of ambulances and equipment for our hospitals and other areas of national interest as well. All these issues have been neglected for the building of a new parliamentary chamber, national cathedral and other related projects that are not of national importance at this moment.

We live in a country where criminals always escape Justice because at the end the police will say “after series of investigations we didn’t get enough evidence to prosecute them, therefore in absence of no evidence we have released the suspects until new charges are brought against them” the media, as usual, will make all the noise and at the end we will all join the silent train and forget about it eventually.

With reference to the missing girls in Takoradi which is currently unfolding with new development,
one can be alleged that some politicians are behind even though, I do not have enough evidence but it is a fact. I can’t really tell why the police can not get a confession out of the suspects in custody.

I can’t but help to think that the same political force behind the kidnapping of the girls is the force behind this whole PDS scandal.

The way forward in ensuring that our security agencies become effective is to make them independent from the executive branch of government.

I trust that the Ghana Police Service can effectively deliver without any political interference.

King Promise

Since he blew up in the music industry, singer/songwriter, King Promise, has been paired with some beautiful ladies including TV personality, Serwaa Amihere and the model from his ‘Abena’ music video.

The association with these two fair ladies has, however, raised questions on his women of choice when it comes to dating.

Speaking on Drive Time on Joy FM, the ‘Bra’ hitmaker revealed he does not discriminate between women.

“Fair, short, tall, thick, dark, it does not matter to me. Anything goes as long as we have the vibe,” he told Lexis Bill, host of the show.

The artiste also disregarded rumours he was dating the model ‘Abena’ from his music video.

He stated that he, however, understands the confusion as emotions were on display in the video.

“We were ‘lovey-dovey’ in the video because we were trying to express the emotions in the song for people to feel it,” he explained.

King Promise revealed that although he is currently single, he has no interest in dating as his focus is maximising his work output in music.
