Armed Robber Turned Pastor, Ogya Nyame Talks About Past Life And How God Called Him

The life story of the founder and leader of Shinning Grace Chapel International, Bishop Isaac Appiah popularly known by many as ‘Ogya Nyame or Amansie Nsroma 1’ is a very interesting one.

Like Paul in the Bible, he never liked the word of God. He was born and raised as a Muslim for over 20 years because his parents were into the same religion. Before now he was called Issah.

Bishop Isaac Appiah in a special interview session on Ghpage TV with Host Rashad Kojo Emmanuel revealed he was a notorious armed robber, bodybuilder, and a land guard somewhere in Kumasi during the tenure of John Agyekum Kuffour.

Born and bred in Kokofu, a town in the Ashanti Region of Ghana had no educational background, and most of it all very stubborn met countless men of God who prophesied to him that he would become a man of God.

Fast forwarding, he one day extensively thought through his life and came to the conclusion that he should forgo all his bad behaviors and start to live the life he came to Kumasi for.

So, he met one popular pastor in Kumasi who took him through the journey of becoming a man of God. He stated to have fellowship on school parks with a few other people who were loyal to him.

The NDC Will Build More Mortuaries In Zongo Communities If Voted Into Power : John Mahama

NDC’s Presidential Aspirant John Dramani Mahama in an interview whiles reading from the manifesto mentioned the NDC if voted into power will build more mortuaries in Zongo Communities.

Seated on Woezor TV, Ex-President Mahama maintained that building morgues in the Zongo Communities forms part of his party’s plan to develop the Zongo localities.

He estimated of building over 300 mortuaries. John Mahama stated that this initiative by the NDC will go a long way to help the Zongo region in handling and preserving of dead bodies.

“..we will facilitate the establishment of morgues/mortuary. There has been a long-standing complains about how dead bodies are handled and a lot of the Muslim communities have no been happy…” Mahama said.

John Mahama also talked about the creation of vast recreational centres in the Zongo Communities for the purpose of making the suffer less in getting a place to hold big and small events.

“…because of the nature of Zongos and other deprived urban settlements, there are no places they can have their social events and their recreational facilities so we will identify areas where we can create a good environments so when they have weddings and other things they can use..”

Meanwhile, John Mahama says his government will legalise the commercial operation of motorbikes popularly known as Okada when voted into power in 2021.

According to him, the Okada business has become a means of sustenance for young people who are unemployed.

Addressing people during his tour of Kpando in the Volta Region, he stated that “our law says okada is illegal, but it is a reality it has come to stay and you can’t stop it. So, I say when we come into office, we legalise it but we will regulate it.”

Anyone interest in pursuing an okada business will be trained and also educated to obey all needed traffic regulations, John Mahama added.

Akufo-Addo Comes Nowhere Near Me In Delivery Of Infrastructure : John Mahama

John Dramani Mahama has responded to claims by the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) that he lacks credibility.

The NPP on a number of occasions has claimed that Mr. Mahama has no credibility in delivering on his promises. During the launch of the NPP manifesto, President Nana Akufo-Addo lambasted Mahama saying he has ‘zero’ credibility when it comes to the implementation of policies hence cannot be trusted. But Mr. Mahama has responded to such claims in an interview on Woezor TV on Sunday, September 20, 2020.

John Mahama in the interview challenged President Akufo-Addo to show the infrastructural projects his government has undertaken in his four-year administration.

“Ghanaians know what my track record is and I am talking about economic infrastructure and if it comes to social infrastructure, my opponent comes nowhere near me in terms of my track record. I built schools, I built hospitals, I repaired the roads, electricity, water, we expanded the Tema Port investment of over one billion dollars. We built the new Terminal three, University of Ghana Medical Centre, water supply to many communities, and extended electricity to so many communities across the country.”
