BBNaija Is Evil, Stop Patronizing It : CAN Warns

Published

on

The Christian Association of Nigeria is calling on the society and other stakeholders to discourage the promotion of the reality show, Big Brother Naija.

According to CAN, the show is evil and promotes immoral activities. CAN have urged the public to rather promote justice and moral programs and activities that are directed to pleasing God and humanity. The chairman of CAN in River State, Stanley Dimkpa is calling on the general public to help scrap the reality show.

In a lengthy statement, they wrote; “As Christians this, this ceremony is aimed at promoting diligence and reinvigorating a positive lifestyle and collectively making our state better.

A state where tribe, creed, political party, and church do not matter in the scheme of things but a state where equity, equality, qualification, truth, and hard work are necessary criteria and conditions for justice.

“Promotion and appointment in all fields of life where reward and good morals will encourage everyone to abhor evil and do what is right. Romans 12:9.

“All these are needed to replace what we have in our world today where societal ills, crimes, and immoral behaviours are geometrically increasing due to bad governance, poverty and reward for wrongdoing, such as Big Brother Naija.

“I want to emphasize Big Brother Naija because all of us have to fight collectively to stop this immoral act and injustice in our land, as Christians and Africans, we have respect for mankind. For those of us that have allowed our friends and families to encourage the patronage of Big Brother Naija, know that it is evil and we must clamp down on it,” he said.

Joyce Blessing Is Not Emotionally Intelligent : Julie Jay-Kanz

Published

on

The former publicist, blogger of Gospel singer Joyce Blessing has once again ‘whipped’ her in her latest interview with Sammy Kay.

According to her, Joyce Blessing is “not emotionally intelligent”. This statement of her coms at the back of the gospel singer raining heavy curses on her.

Joyce Blessing whose marriage with Dave Joy hangs in a balance cursed Jullie Jay-Kanz for allegedly thwarting her progress despite making demands and subsequently receiving them.

The singer accused Jullie Jay-Kanz of being the reason her contents keep getting flagged on YouTube and Instagram and warned her to desist from the act or face God’s wrath.

However, the publicist reacted to Joyce’s curse in an equal measure. She used the popular Psalm 109 to send her version of the curses to the singer via social media.

Whiles speaking in the interview, Julie Jay expressed her disappointment at Joyce Blessing for invoking curses on her and added that the former Zylofon signee lacks emotional intelligence.

Again, the publicist denied all the allegation leveled at her and stated in the affirmative that she has not in any way had any flirty affair with Dave Joy, husband of Joyce Blessing.

Jay Z Announces His Marijuana Business Branded Monogram

Published

on

Jay Z launched his new cannabis line called Monogram on Friday, October 23.

Adding to his long list of businesses including his streaming service- Tidal, music executive roles, memoir writing, liquor business, and real estate, Monogram proves that there is little the rapper wouldn’t touch.

The billionaire now joins celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Whoopi Goldberg, Wiz Khalifa and even Martha Stewart who have all had their own lines.

In partnership with the California Cannabis Company, Caliva, the 50-year-old launched his business.

Although the legendary rapper just announced his official line with Caliva, he joined the company in 2019 as its chief brand strategist.

However, there is yet to be a release date as Monogram’s official website gives little information about what it will offer.

Also released on Jay-Z’s streaming platform, Tidal, this week was a playlist entitled ‘Monogram: Sounds From the Grow Room‘ with Bob Marley, The Beetles, and Rihanna all on it.

The site reads, “Monogram marks a new chapter in cannabis defined by dignity, care, and consistency. It is a collective effort to bring you the best, and a humble pursuit to discover what the best truly means.”

While it remains federally illegal, more than half of US states have legalized medical marijuana, with some of those states even allowing recreational use.

Published

on

Rumors have it that this guy called “RAO”, though an up and coming artist, has great tunes and lyrical content than most of the currently self-acclaimed Kings of Highlife including Kuame Eugene, Kidi, King Promise, and others.

As to who was making such comparison, we can’t disclose for controversial security reasons. It was on the 20th of October when the person (a renowned person in the Ghana music industry whose name is withheld) said in an interview with a radio station that he’s heard a new song by an upcoming artist called RAO and he thinks the Ghana music industry has a great and promising future with such talents in the loop. He added that chances and opportunities don’t happen fairly, if they do, this guy RAO should have already been out and up there rubbing shoulders with those guys whose names are aforementioned.

Ghana music industry has experienced a tremendous change lately and has embraced other genres of music including afrobeat and the rest. This RAO guy per my little inquiry is really versatile in all genres and stands ready for the Ghana Music Industry and beyond. He is currently signed on NB Records and they are about to release another single titled Otɔlɛ meaning hustle, not long after the release of his hit song “Fakye-Forgive”. This new song is produced by KinDee.

Listen to one of his songs below. and if you agree that if he’s given the chance and opportunity, he could be better than the names mentioned above, leave your comments here or under the YouTube video, let’s know what you think.
