Benedicta Gafah And Gloria Sarfo Join JaGhafest As Newly Announced Ambassadors

Ghanaian leading actresses, Benedicta Gafah and Gloria Osei Sarfo have been named as new ambassadors for JaGhafest 2019. Last week, Kalybos and James Gardiner were listed.

The two ladies together with the gentlemen are tipped to influence JaGhafest with their great following to boost the maiden edition of the festival.

Benedicta Gafah who is also a film producer has been featured in both Ghallywood and Kumawood movies; notable among them includes “Mirror Girl”, “Azonto Ghost” and “April Fool”.

Gloria Osei Sarfo who virtually took over the creeks in many houses every week on the popular “Efiewura” TV Series is super excited to be on board. She dropped an endorsement video for JaGhafest online Gee hours ago and calling for patrons to support JaGhafest 2019, set for March 9 and March 10.

She is an actress, voice over artiste and a presenter. She has featured in movies like “Friday Night”, “The Most Beautiful Hour” and others. She came to limelight when she featured in local sitcom Efiewura.

JaGhafest promise to be a yearly event after this year’s. Freddie McGregor, Charly Black, Alaine, Natel, Duane Stephenson, Ikaya, TK, ZJ Sparks, Coppershot have been mentioned as performers from Jamaica with more names likely to be added as surprises.

Efia Odo To Give Sex Workers Alternatives To Make A Living

Ghanaian actress Efia Odo says she hopes to give sex workers alternatives to earn enough income to take care of themselves.

Recall the versatile actress celebrated ‘Mothers Day’ with some commercial sex workers around the East Legon area. according to her,…. I just wanted to talk to them, vibe with them and have fun’.

Speaking in an interview on AmeyawTV Efia Odo revealed her plans to embark on a project that will give commercial sex workers alternatives to make a living.

‘I want to give them alternatives, I feel like nobody really pays attention to them or want to hear them out I wanna hear them out I wanna hear why they are doing what they are doing and if I give them the alternatives will they take it most of them said yes’ She said.

The TV and radio host further stated that she will celebrate Mothers Day with sex workers annually.

Ghana Police Reveals Shatta Wale And Stonebwoy Will Face The Court

A press statement released by the Ghana Police Service has revealed that two Ghanaian Reggae dancehall artistes [Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy] and one Nii Amo will be arraign before court in due time.

The just ended 20th edition of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards held at Accra International Conference Centre [AICC], witnessed a fracas between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale on the night.

Known in real life as Livingstone Etse Satekla aka Stonebwoy, was adjudged on the night as the Reggae Dancehall Artistes of year by beating his rival Shatta Wale, Epixode and AK Songstress in that category.

“The two [Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy], together with one other suspect, Nii Amoo, who was seen discharging pepper spray in the auditorium were all arrested yesterday 19th May 2019, placed in lawful custody and have been granted bail to be arraigned before court in due time,”
