Camidoh’s Contingency Plan EP

Ghana’s finest Afropop/RnB singer, record producer, and songwriter, Camidoh, has been trending on the Ghanaian airwaves last and this year looks even better for him and his team.

His old songs as far as 2018, such as “For My lover” still remain relevant to date, receiving massive airplay.
His new songs in 2020 have equally been massively circulating on our airwaves and making appearances on the Ghud Music weekly charts.

His song, “The Best”, released last year, also made some appearances on the charts within early this year.
His current E.P, “Contingency Plan (C.P)”, is what we are currently grooving to.

The E.P was released on the 4th of July 2020 and it has already started making its way onto the Ghud Music charts with 18 radio stations playing his songs within the period.

“Maria” made its appearance on the Ghud music’s Urban chart and General chart, within the first week of its release as #2 and #8 respectively. “Maria” maintained its position on the urban chart as #2 and Moved up to from #8 to #4 on the general chart for the week ending 16th July, 2020.

Live FM, Citi FM and Pluzz FM played his EP the most since its release.
Judging from his airplay data, his #CPMediaTour has contributed enormously to the album release.

Camidoh is indeed one of our finest talented acts who have ensured to stay relevant since his entry into the music industry.

We look forward to more surprises and great tunes from Camidoh and his team in the upcoming months. Ghud Music digitally monitors and analyzes airplay from over 75 radio stations in all regions across Ghana.

Coronavirus Ruined I And Chioma’s Wedding Plans : Davido

Singer, Davido, says the Coronavirus pandemic ruined his wedding plans with Chioma Rowland, his fiancee, and the mother of his son, Ifeanyi.

Davido stated this in an interview with Ebuka on Bounce Radio live. The couple got engaged in September last year and many believed they would have tied the knot by now.

However, Davido says their wedding was billed to hold July 2020 but the Coronavirus pandemic prevented it from happening.

“Honestly, Corona messed plans up because it was meant to be in July. I have decided probably sometime next year. For now, I want her to work on her business while I work on my album and the kids. I want everything to balance first” he said

Speaking on how long himself and Chioma have known each other, the singer said

“I have known Chioma for about seven years. We have been dating for about five years. Lati introduced me to Chioma. We went to the same school, Babcock University. We started as friends but I got so used to her and she got so used to me as well. She is a great cook as well.”

The singer who has two daughters, Imade and Hailey from his babymamas, Sophia and Amanda, said although it has not been easy making the women in his life happy but that as a man, he has found a way of maintaining balance in his home as he treats everyone equally.

“At the end of the day, all my kids are equal. Once I have a kid, everybody is equal. Before I had kids, I was obviously friends with their mothers. Nothing is perfect. I am not going to say that we do not argue or we do not fight, it happens, but the love that we all have for our kids comes first.

“Imade and her sister talk almost every week. Their mothers ensure that they speak almost every week. Some days ago, Imade was with Ifeanyi in their grandfather’s house. It is not easy, but at the end of the day, as a man, you have to make everybody happy. You just have to be responsible and know what you have to do. Before I engage with anybody I would have known that you are reasonable whether we planned for it or not,” he said.

The singer also spoke about his late mum whom he disclosed died of Cardiac arrest.

”I was about 10 to 11 years old when she died. She died on my father’s birthday. Honestly, it was just cardiac arrest. Even if it was going to happen, I would not have known because I was about 10 or 11 years old. She was not really sick. She used to get sick once in a while but it was nothing serious.

I often say that I see my mother in Chioma. I did not grow up with my mother. I can hardly remember what happened when I was that young.”

Nobody Knows Where The Money Gov’t Promises Creative Arts Goes : Wolfman

Dancehall sensation Wolfman has waded into the debate of whether the government is really supporting the creative arts industry. We have been hearing the government making promises of this support day in day out.

3music Awards CEO, Sadiq Abdulai has been on the war front defending the National Democratic Congress(NDC) while Socrate Sarfo has also been defending the New Patriotic Party(NPP). Speaking to Harrygraphic, the Volta Music Awards best performer of the year expressed his concern to us. When asked, what is your view on Government involvement in creative arts? Are you seeing their support for the industry?

“I think our government is not doing that much when it comes to its involvement towards the creative art industry especially the musical aspect of that industry. When you look up there (western world) and compare the situations you’ll see that you don’t need to be that much big to start earning from music or whatever aspect you find yourself in the creative art industry. I also think the awareness of how to start earning on our creative arts in the country is very low and slow compare to even our brothers in other countries like Nigeria and South Africa.

About their support hmmm I remembered some time ago some funds was allocated to the Ghamro but hmmm nothing really came out from there. But all things being equal I think the government doesn’t include us in their budget lol 😂 it’s sad to say that though but that’s how I see it”, he said.

Wolfman is set to release his new song soon titled ” Restoration” after going their tribulations for the past months.
