Ghanian born singer and composer who operates under stage name Candice D but christened at birth Esther Naa Maku Tawiah shares what has kept her love for music ablaze for over a decade.

The singer who is from a Ga and a Fante blend background has been widely influenced by her travel across the world after she relocated to Europe to study and later fell in love with culture and discovery which fueled her passion to travel the world and learn new things.

Her passion for tourism and culture, she said, is one of the main drivers of her music zeal, hence she will do music and top it up with audio visuals that will sell Ghana in a way that aims to boost tourism. ”I want foreigners to yearn to pay a visit to Ghana just like some Ghanaians yearn to travel abroad.” She shared.

Currently with Royal Records as her main Record label, the soothing voice aims at reaching the BET’s in the next year as an honor to be done her sister Naomi Tewiah who has since 2007 paid her studio bill, and has been very supportive as well as her family and friends to whom she is very grateful.

Candice D though has yet to be released records with Shatta Wale and Keche is currently promoting her new single titled Agenda which is her second, and a follow-up to her first project which depicted love, titled ”I’m yours”.

Agenda was produced by Beats DaKay while the flawless audiovisual was directed by Snares films.

Sarkodie Reacts After Kelvin Taylor Said “His Mouth Is Like Egyptian Condom” | WATCH

Ghanaian Award-winning rapper Sarkodie has responded to the jabs directed at him by Radio presenter Kelvin Taylor over his comments on the post made by NDC’s Sammy Gyamfi.

It will be recalled that the Nationals Communications Officer for the NDC Sammy Gyamfi posted a sensitive cartoon photo of George Floyd’s death which was a parallel representation of how the NPP and EC planning to rig the upcoming elections.

Reacting to the cartoon post by Sammy Gyamfi, Sarkodie retweeting wrote; “Naa my brother we all go wrong sometimes…. I will believe your intention wasn’t to joke with this serious n very sensitive issues, but you still wrong just do what’s right…..retract n take it down.”

Radio Presenter Kelvin Taylor threw his support behind Sammy Gyamfi and called “Hypocrite”. According to Kelvin Taylor, Sarkodie is condoning the compilation of the new voters register in the wake of the COVID-19. Kelvin went further to described Sarkodie’s mouth “as Egyptian condom”.

However, Sarkodie has responded to the jabs from Kelvin Taylor on Twitter. In a video, King Sark was seen in a slow motion pace with a song at the background which says ”Boys are giving him pressure, they just wanna put me on a stretcher”.
