Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has lashed out at the Executive Director of Charterhouse, Theresa Ayoade over her recent comment concerning his ban with Shatta Wale. Theresa Ayoade in a press conference called on the media to rise above Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy and focus on other artistes. “let us rise above them. Can you as the media help the industry rise above these two? Let’s rise above these two and let the industry breathe and move on. Sarkodie won artiste of the decade and nobody even talked about it.” “The industry is bigger than these two artistes and that what I want you to go back with. There are lots of young people who need the opportunity so let’s move on,” She said. Mrs Theresa Ayoade faced several criticisms for her statement she made concerning Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s ban. Shatta Wale recently descended heavily on the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA), Charterhouse over the comment made by Theresa Ayoade. Stonebwoy has also reacted to Mrs Theresa Ayoade’s recent comment over their ban disclosing that he is highly disappointed in her for instigating the media to help end their career. Stonebwoy indicated that the organisers of VGMA, Charterhouse does not have the interest of Ghanaian musicians and Ghana Music in general. Taking to his Twitter handle, Stonebwoy wrote: “May I conclude that @charterhouseGH DOES NOT Have The Interest Of Ghanaian Musicians and Ghana Music At Heart. With All Due Respect #MrsTeresa I’m Disappointed!! Calling On Ghana Media To Help You Quench Our Careers Is A Very Low Blow..#BhimGovernment” ______ #constantbuzzgh
