CJ Biggerman: I am Christian Jojo Joshua

KubiLiveChat: Nice name. Can you give us a gist of your educational background?

CJ Biggerman: I went to Sakumono school complex from primary to JHS, had placement at Temasco and headed to Regional maritime for my tertiary level.

KubiLiveChat: This is great. How long have you been doing music?

CJ Biggerman: Since i was six years, but started professional recording when I got to university which is 5 years now.

KubiLiveChat: That is cool. So what really pushed you into music?

CJ Biggerman: Passion and I saw my ability to put words together to make meanings. I love to hear different sounds.

KubiLiveChat: So how do you put your lyrics together?

CJ Biggerman: I use things around me to write my songs be it an event or experience that I have witnessed.

KubiLiveChat: So apart from music what do you do?

CJ Biggerman: I’m doing ma national service at Volta lake transport company

KubiLiveChat: Cool. So after your national service what will you be doing apart from music?

CJ Biggerman: Music is ma career that is what i will be doing.

KubiLiveChat: Great. Apart from music, any hobbies?

CJ Biggerman: Yes. Sleeping! Hahaha.

KubiLiveChat: Hahahha why sleeping?

CJ Biggerman: Cause i really get stressed up a lot, but i love browsing a lot and watching movies.

KubiLiveChat: Then we can be buddies.

CJ Biggerman: Sure why not (Smiles)

KubiLiveChat: So do you have anybody who influenced your choice of music like a mentor?

CJ Biggerman: Oh Yeah! My Big Bro, Sark, EL, Edem, Cabum, Kojo Cue, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Chance The Rapper, Cassper Nyovest and J Cole.

KubiLiveChat: Wow, wow, nice and dope people.

CJ Biggerman: Sure!

KubiLiveChat: So between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, who will you choose to do a collaboration with, if given the chance to choose one?

CJ Biggerman: Kendrick Is dope but I will go for a drake collaboration.

KubiLiveChat: Hahaha! Why?

CJ Biggerman: I seem to relate more to drake songs than Kendrick undisputed Kendrick is super dope but I just enjoy the music composition from drake more.

KubiLiveChat: Oh I see!

CJ Biggerman: Exactly.

KubiLiveChat: What of EL And King Sark?

CJ Biggerman: Lol I would like to work with all of them.

CJ Biggerman: Disappointments. More talks people doing more. Show organizers not seeing the essence of paying upcoming acts. So many.

CJ Biggerman: E bee.

KubiLiveChat: Anyway congrats on your nomination for the VGMAs.

CJ Biggerman: Thank you.

KubiLiveChat: So are you signed to any label?

CJ Biggerman: I will say i signed ma self, With the help of ma team “HASHTAG MUSIC GROUP” owned by Edward Amponsah together with Harma Boi and I we made “HASHTAG MUSIC GROUP”. But now we are being managed by a management company called “Ace Music Consult”.

KubiLiveChat: Wow.

CJ Biggerman: So we provide the talents then Ace music Consult manages us.

KubiLiveChat: That’s Champ.

CJ Biggerman: For now I’m the front runner for hashtag but we have other good acts coming out soon.

I Have No Mentor In The Music Industry : Gyidi

Gyidi, Ghanaian music rising star known in real life as George Kofi Asare has revealed he doesnt have any mentor in the music industry.

Revealing this in an exclusive interview on KubiLiveChat, he revealed honestly, he doesn’t look up to anyone in the industry.

He moved on saying, there are some people whose works he admires and get inspired by certain aspects of their crafts.

But outside the industry, he looks up to Apostle Vinny Max Bani, AVMB as he is all rounded and has the knowledge and skill for every area of life.

He also revealed he had once approached a label but now he doesnt want to be on any label.

Giving a reason, he thinks it’s better to start off on your own, build something substantial so that a label who comes looking for you will be able to have a better deal with you.

He told us; Yhhhh I think it is better to start off on your own, build something substantial, so that should a label come looking for you you have a greater negotiation or bargaining power. I don’t think it is advisable to go chasing labels, you may be at their mercies. But start something, learn the business, build a strong brand then if they come calling you can have a proper conversation where you’re not exploited or something. Yhhh. Get power so sey nobody go overpower you. Hehe.

Gyidi Reveals Inspiration Behind His “Dawn” EP

Gyidi, Ghanaian music talented musician in an exclusive interview with KubiLiveChat revealed the inspiration behind his new EP.

According to him, his”Dawn” EP was inspired mainly by what he perceived people could be experiencing.

So of his songs were written as a way to communicate to people, heal, comfort and guide them.

He also revealed to us why he chooses the name “Dawn” as this was decided by him and his team.

Explaining this, he revealed because they had been away from music for a while and felt like this was going to be a new beginning for them.
