Fuse ODG secures land for a senior high school and university in Akosombo

Nana Richard Abiona, better known by his stage name Fuse ODG, has acquired a land at Akosombo in the Eastern Region of Ghana to build a senior high school and university.

The musician visited the site with top NBA player, Luol Deng who played for the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls.

The NBA star was excited to see the project of his friend, Fuse ODG. He pledged to support his friend.

The UK-based Ghanaian artiste in partnership with a charity called Wood World Mission raised funds to build a primary school in Akosombo.

The ‘Azonto’ hitmaker is now on a mission to build a secondary school and a university, hence the acquisition of the land.

He revealed during the tour of the land that the short-term vision is to establish a senior high school.

Fuse ODG however, opined that in the long-term, the vision is also to construct a university.

According to Fuse, most of the children who started the primary school years ago will be completing Junior High School in some few years and need to continue to the Senior High School hence his idea to erect a building for education at the secondary level.

Fuse ODG is an English recording artist of Ghanaian descent. He is best known for his 2013 single ‘Antenna’ which peaked at number 7 on the UK Singles Chart, and for featuring in Major Lazer’s ‘Light It Up (Remix)’ which also peaked at number 7 on the UK Singles Chart.

Born in London and raised in Ghana, Fuse returned to London for his secondary education, where he attended the Archbishop Lanfranc School, Croydon. He grew up in Mitcham, South London.

Caleb Giovani Leaves EIB Network, Joins Media General

Radio/TV host Giovanni Caleb, has announced he’s leaving the EIB Network Family.

Giovanni Caleb was the host of Starr FM’s Drive Time show and co-host of GhOne’s “Duvet”.

He announced his move on Instagram.

“There are decisions that are very hard to make, but there comes a time in our life when God’s plan supersedes our own. I want to use this opportunity to thank EIB Network for the amazing journey. Thanks to you fans and listeners of “Starrdrive and #Duvet. The team at Starr1035fm and GhoneTv and of course the emperor himself Bolarayofficial. Wishing the whole company all the best for the future. God bless us all”, he wrote.

Giovani will be joining the Media General group.

Chris Brown Reportedly Under Investigation For Alleged Rape In Paris

American singer, Chris Brown has landed himself in hot water after being accused of rape in Paris.

According to French publication ‘Closer’, the multiple award-winning singer is being investigated by the French police after a 24-year-old woman claimed he sexually assaulted her in his hotel room this month.

She said Chris Brown raped her on the night of Jan. 15-16th after meeting at a club located near Les Champs-Elysees in France. The woman filed a complaint to police with claims that Breezy invited her to his hotel room at Le Mandarin Oriental along with another woman.

However, in her testimony, she stated that she ended up in a single room with Chris Brown where she claims she was raped.

The woman also alleges that Breezy’s bodyguard and his friend also abused her.

Paris parquet already opened a case and began investigating into the claims that she was raped at Chris brown’s hotel room.

The police are currently investigating the woman’s complaints.

The Media Caused My Breakup With Michy : Shatta Wale

The self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale has finally opened up on what really cause his breakup with his longtime girlfriend, Shatta Michy.

According to Shatta Wale, his problems started with the media. Wale claims the media has been consistent with bad publicity about him for so long that his girlfriend is even confused about who he really is and has dumped him.

It means the stealing of Shatta Wale’s range rover by Michy, the drug abuse by Shatta Michy and the physical abuse from Shatta Wale didn’t start his troubles but the bad image being projected by the media caused the break with Michy.

In a post on his social media handle, Shatta explained that the media does not see anything good in him and has only bad things to publish about him.

Interestingly, Ghanaians still believe they are faking all these breakup issues for hype as they are best known for.
