Nana Richard Abiona, better known by his stage name Fuse ODG, has acquired a land at Akosombo in the Eastern Region of Ghana to build a senior high school and university.

The musician visited the site with top NBA player, Luol Deng who played for the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls.

The NBA star was excited to see the project of his friend, Fuse ODG. He pledged to support his friend.

The UK-based Ghanaian artiste in partnership with a charity called Wood World Mission raised funds to build a primary school in Akosombo.

The ‘Azonto’ hitmaker is now on a mission to build a secondary school and a university, hence the acquisition of the land.

He revealed during the tour of the land that the short-term vision is to establish a senior high school.

Fuse ODG however, opined that in the long-term, the vision is also to construct a university.

According to Fuse, most of the children who started the primary school years ago will be completing Junior High School in some few years and need to continue to the Senior High School hence his idea to erect a building for education at the secondary level.

Fuse ODG is an English recording artist of Ghanaian descent. He is best known for his 2013 single ‘Antenna’ which peaked at number 7 on the UK Singles Chart, and for featuring in Major Lazer’s ‘Light It Up (Remix)’ which also peaked at number 7 on the UK Singles Chart.

Born in London and raised in Ghana, Fuse returned to London for his secondary education, where he attended the Archbishop Lanfranc School, Croydon. He grew up in Mitcham, South London.

A beef has surfaced within the last 24 hours between “One Corner” hitmaker Patapaa and the Fadama Rockstar, Kuami Eugene.

The beef was triggered by comments made by the Lynx artiste regarding the Patapaa’s music.
