I Don’t Think It’s Important To Congratulate Sarkodie After Winning BET Award : Shatta Wale

Published

Shatta Wale

A few days ago Sarkodie won the best international flow category at the BET Hip-Hop awards. He is the first Ghanaian to ever win this category. Reacting to his win several Ghanaian celebrities such as Stonebwoy, Samini, Medikal, and M.anifest took to their social media platforms to congratulate Sarkodie.

One person, however, failed to do so. Shatta Wale, who has had a number of kinds of beef with Sarkodie did not send out a congratulatory message to Sarkodie like most of his colleagues did.

Explaining why he didn’t send out a congratulatory message to Sarkodie for the or the first time, Charles Nii Armah as he is formally called, claims he never actually heard that Sarkodie had won an award.

He added that artistes like Sarkodie are trying to portray a certain type of image that would affect the future generation. He said that he doesn’t deem it necessary to congratulate Sarkodie for the award.

It is his strong believe that Sarkodie portrays a lifestyle that’s not original and he (Shatta Wale), doesn’t believe in such a lifestyle hence his disassociation from Sarkodie.

Powerful Nana Aba Anamoah Offers Fired EC Boss New Job As A TV Presenter

Published

on

Take it or leave it Nana Aba Anamoah is the most powerful media personality in Africa. We are saying this because if Nana Addo says no, Nana Aba can say yes as she has become the first person in Ghana to turn a former EC boss to a TV Presenter.

Charlotte Osei in 2018 was sacked with 2 others from Ghana’s Electoral Commission by Nana Addo over misbehavior and incompetence. Since then she has kept a low profile through having stints with international bodies. Thanks to Nana Aba who is the Acting General Manageress of GhOneTV, the hard-working and respectful lawyer, Autie Charlotte, is coming on our screens with a new show.

Though this may burden EIB’s already burdened purse because you can’t pay Auntie Char a chicken change, we think it’s a smart move to resuscitate the channel for the meantime and we love it.

I Dislike Kuami Eugene : Patapaa Amisty

Published

on

The Pa2pa Soldiers Headline Artiste, Patapaa Amisty paid a visit to the studios of Tv Africa during the week to promote his new single, “Adam Kokonsa,” a very dope highlife tune with very rich lyrical content and features the legendary Akwaboah, one of Ghana’s firebrands in the music game.

During the interview, he expressed how much he dislikes Kuami Eugene after he made a statement last year, which was a ploy to kill his career in the long ran. According to the “Scopatu Manaa” hitmaker, ‪Kuami Eugene‬ is self centered

The 2pm Lord, Larry Bozzlz asked Patapaa to confirm a statement he made earlier about being the new “face of highlife” in the course of the interview. In his reply to Larry Bozzlz, host of Video Ryde, he rightly stated that a real highlife artiste is one who is able to put a message across, and not necessarily use just one theme to write all his or her songs. He made reference to some legends like Nana Ampadu and Akwasi Ampofo Adjei in his assertion. He went further to say any artiste who has to rely on songwriters to write for them to sing are “soakings artiste.” In a much plainer sense, he described such artistes as “foktop,” which means such artistes don’t have the idea to make music.

Justice Amoah popularly known as Patapaa is an African hiplife musician, songwriter and comedian. He is best known for his 2017 debut single “One Corner”, and in 2019, came up with the phrase “Sco Pa Tu Manaa” which quickly became a social media phrase and further boosted his popularity.

He has two huge albums to his credit, Patupa, and Scopatu Manaa which made waves around the world.
