I think the NCA is confused says Comedian Khemikal

Published

on

Stand-up comedian Khemikal thinks, The National Communications Authority’s move to Ban the use of certain services like Internet calls provided by WhatsApp, Facebook, Viber, Skype and other Over-The-Top services are far fetched.

In his opinion, he thinks the NCA and Mr. Ebenezer Asante are a bit confused. He stated, “As a stand up comedian and an IT person this move will just hinder the growth of technology in the country and send us back to the 90’s.” In his view, If indeed we want Ghana to develop, then this is a wrong move on the part of the NCA. Instead the telecommunication networks should find new ways to make their profit, rather than use this as a basis.

He added, “I don’t see how patronizing these internet calls services hinders or make communication companies run at a loss because if I should remember right, those calls are paid for. Remember, I buy data don’t I? Unless you want to tell me some pure water seller, bread seller or Kenkey seller somewhere is the one producing the recharge cards I use to purchase my data.”

He further states, “What else do you want me to use my data for if not for the Internet, add it to my food when there’s no fish?”

He thinks, the best way to solve this situation is for the telecommunication companies to stop selling airtime or bundle to its customers, that is if they want the issue to be solved 100 percent.

He concluded that, “Without internet we can’t make the calls. NCA, rethink your decision and leave Ghanaians alone else, ban all Internet Service Providers and the use of social media apps as well.”

Freedom Jacob Caesar Reacts After Wildlife Move To Seize Tigers

Published

Nana Kwame Bediako, a business entrepreneur also known as Freedom Jacob Caesar Cheddar, has admitted to keeping two tigers in his home.

He claims he had the two tigers for six months.

The presence of two tigers in Wonder World Estates, Avenue Lincoln, near the British High Commission in Ridge, Accra, had alarmed some residents.

A section of the public took to social media to draw the attention of the Ghana Police Service to the situation, which they believe is illegal.

In response, Freedom Jacob Caesar stated that he followed all procedures when bringing the animals to Ghana in order to increase tourism.

In an interview with TV3, he stated that he bought them with the intention of making Ghana the first country on the continent to have them.

“First and foremost, you are correct; I have two tigers that I purchased in a bidding war between Ghana and Dubai. I was the private sector representative who sparked my interest in purchasing these two animals. But we went through the procedure; the animals are seven months old and still in their infancy.”

“I went in to purchase these animals in order to increase the value of tourism in our country.” I wanted to enter the Safari World by ensuring that Ghana is the first country in West Africa, East Africa, and Central Africa, aside from South Africa, to have these animals.”

“We wanted to be the first to have it, so I ordered both the male and female versions.” I’ve been storing them for six months. I brought experts from outside to create a safety cage for these animals, so they don’t become dangerous to the public.”
