Budding young Ghanaian Afrobeats artiste, Gakpey is ready to make his major industry debut appearance with his new single “Man Dey” which will be released on June 19, 2020 under BlakEye Rekkodz.

“Man Dey” a soothing afrobeats song by Gakpey is aimed at inspiring and motivating the masses on their daily struggles as they grow through life.

“Man Dey” by Gakpey is produced by Ghanaian producer, Gidi Siq to kick start his music career professionally under BlakEye Rekkodz on Friday, June 19.

ABOUT GAKPEY

Born Gakpey Christian Mawuli is a Ghanaian Afrobeats Singer who hails from Vume in the Volta Region but lived all his life in Kaneshie in the Greater Accra Region. He started his childhood education in Kaneshie Daycare Center and proceeded to Covenant Educational Centre to write his Basic Education Certificate Examination which he passed and got admitted to Saint Thomas Aquinas Senior High School to pursue his high school education.

The music-making process started for Gakpey in Senior High School as he joined a musical group, “ASQUAD”. He released his first ever recorded sound in 2016 titled “Where Are You”, an R&B song while still part of the group, “ASQUAD”.

In 2019, he got signed onto BlakEye Rekkodz, A Ghanaian talent management and grooming label who is focused on redefining new artistes with international appeal.

Lady In D-Black’s Licking Tape Speaks Out On How The Video Got Leaked

A lady who identifies herself as Adrienne Nicole has owned up to being the woman in D Black’s leaked tape and she’s speaking about the video got leaked.

In a press statement released by her, she says the video got found its way to the internet after her phone got missing and someone attempted blackmailing her with her explicit content in the phone’s gallery.

“About a week ago I lost my phone. And I posted online that I lost my phone. I didn’t think about anything negative about it then the next minute I started getting threats and somebody asking me for money else they’re gonna post my personal photos and videos on social media” the statement stated.

According to Adrienne who based in the U.S, she has reported the case to cyber crimes and also indicates that she had a relationship with the “Oh Vera” rapper but they are no more.

“I had to report to the police here to take care of it. But I keep getting threats and requests from different social media pages. And when I click to check those pages, they had started posting personal photos and videos of me and my Ghanaian partner (with whom I’ve even broke up with). Apart from reporting to the cyber crimes unit of the police here, I’ve directly contacted the social media platform owners and they have taken down 2 of those parody accounts. But they keep using other pages and channels as well.”

The statement sighted by FameBugs concluded saying that “I’m issuing this statement because I don’t want my private issues circulated out there, neither do I want same for my ex. It’s not intentional for it to happen so I need to publicly issue this statement to let the world know while I engage the right channels to do the needful”.
