Josephine Eva-Arthur, Prince Akpah, Derrick Vormawor To Speak At 8th Business Start Up Clinic

Head of Inclusive Banking at Access Bank (Ghana) Plc, Josephine Eva-Arthur, and other young Ghanaian entrepreneurs have been named as speakers for the 8th edition of the Business Startup Clinic, a flagship event of Platinum Africa Solutions (PASL) to be hosted on 5th October 2019 at the head office of Access Bank Ghana.

Themed, Deeper Conversations, the summit is bringing young Ghanaian thought leaders such as CEO of PASL, Mr. Derrick Seyram Vormawor, Prince Akpah of Avance Media, Esinam Seade of Essydel/Investfield Africa and Aisha Ayensu of Christie Brown to share their experiences and lessons in their journey of entrepreneurship in Ghana.

For two years, The Business Start UP Clinic (TBSUC) has fleshed out its goal to inform, inspire and provide business strategies and networking opportunities to budding entrepreneurs. TBSUC has attained many successes as it has seen participants scale up their businesses, develop amazing projects and build meaningful partnerships.

Having started out in Ghana as a bi-annual event to encourage entrepreneurship and raise top-notch business leaders in Africa, TBSUC has held two editions in Kenya and will now continue as an annual event in both countries while exploring more grounds.

As a flagship event of Platinum Africa Solutions Limited (PASL), the event h serves as a one-stop-shop boutique event targeted at entrepreneurs, students and working professionals, who are ready to access viable business strategies from successful entrepreneurs and find more inspiration to keep running their various ventures.

The 8th Edition of The Business Start-Up Clinic with Access Bank’s W-initiative will introduce new experiences like the W-Pitch, which will provide access to funding for winners of the pitch.

Participants will also enjoy networking and mentorship zones with the thought leaders as this year’s event hopes to help Entrepreneurs Bridge the gap between knowledge and practice. It is not be missed.

Morgan Heritage Partners City Of Orlando For iJAM Music Festival; “Where Impact Meets Music”; On April 4, 2020!

Orlando, Florida (MPR CONSULTING) – Grammy Award-winning Morgan Heritage (Roy “Gramps” Morgan, Peter “Peetah” Morgan and Memmalatel “Mojo” Morgan) today announced the partnership with City of Orlando, District 5 Commisioner Regina Hill to bring the iJAM Music Festival to Orlando – Where Impact Meets Music. The one-day festival features international music superstars performing a spectrum of musical genres all while bringing awareness through music and maintaining a sound mind, body and soul. The multicultural iJAM Music Festival makes its debut at Orlando’s Tinker Field on Saturday, April 4. The Morgan Heritage Foundation has partnered with City of Orlando, District 5 Commissioner Regina Hill, Clean the World and iHeartMedia, to bring the iJAM Music Festival to District 5. Through this partnership they hope to have a greater impact in the community, this includes the inclusion of local businesses and partners. Commissioner Hill has advocated for more involvement of youth in events throughout the community, and will be sponsoring a Kidz Zone during the Music Festival to make this happen. This will give 5 lucky winners the opportunity to be a part of the iJAM Music Festival. Winners will be chosen from the 5 following categories: Reggae/Dancehall/Soca, Hip-Hop/R&B, Rock, Latin and the People’s Choice (the people get to choose this winner). Beyonce delivered an emotional rendition of “XO” and “Halo” at Kobe Bryant and Gigi’s farewell ceremony.

Kobe Bryant and Gigi’s farewell ceremony is currently taking place at the Staples Center and Beyonce took to the stage to open the memorial event.

Wearing a marigold-colored pant suit, the singer delivered a moving rendition of her hit song XO after giving a short speech saying the song was Kobe’s favorite.

“I’m here because I love Kobe, and this was one of his favorite songs,” she said after singing the first line, before beginning again. “So I want to start that over, but I want us to do it all together. I want us to sing it so loud that we hear the love.”

The singer then transitioned into “Halo.”

The memorial service for Kobe Brayant and his daughter Gianna is currently holding at Staples Center with thousands of people in attendance including famous celebrities.

The NBA legend, 41, with his 13-year-old daughter tragically died along with seven others when the helicopter they were travelling in crashed near Calabasas, California on Sunday, Jan. 26th.

They were on their way to basketball practice when the helicopter they were in crashed, killing everyone on board.
