Kwame Partan’s “Me Busa” Album Hits The Global Stores

Kwame Partan, Veteran Ghanaian Reggae Singer, has finally released his sophomore album for the global market.

Listed on itunes, the album costs only USD $9.99. It is also available on Deezer, Spotify, Amazon Music, TIDAL and other global music stores. It will also be available for purchase on the local music stores in Ghana this February 2019.

Kwame Partan’s 11-tracked album titled “Me Busa” was officially released on Friday, August 5, 2016 in Accra, Ghana as his sophomore album. This second album was released under his own Management, Loud People Production. About 95% of the songs on the “Me Busa” album was Reggae; it had majority of the productions by Crownzy Beatz.

Kwame Partan is known as a conscious revolutionist through the power of music and well-decorated lyrics, deep enough that relates well with real life experiences. He is best known for his hit singles “Papa Koti” and “Onipa” – both songs listed on his “Me Busa” album.

Kwame Partan, born under real name “Aaron Ayeh”, has played major concerts in Ghana; notable among them are “Sizzla Live in Ghana” Concert in 2007, “Anthony B & Jah Mason Live in Ghana” Concert in 2012, just to name a few. He has graced other respectable stages in Ghana by fellow artistes. He has also climbed some stages in Germany.

With 2 albums under his belt, Kwame Partan is highly revered within the Reggae sect as one of the best Songwriters and finest live band performers anytime he climbs the stage.

Kwame Partan launched himself unto the music scene professionally in 1999. He started out as a Hiplife artiste rocking various and doing collaborations with the ilks of Becca among others.

He released his debut album “Busa Me”, a Hiplife catalog in 2003 under Astra Records. Not too long ago after releasing that debut album, Kwame Partan had the calling to switch to Reggae music.

Erica Mena And Ex-Boyfriend Cliff Dixon

Love & Hip Hop’ star, Erica Mena has lost her ex-boyfriend, Cliff Dixon.

According to TMZ, Dixon was shot and killed during the celebration of his birthday at an Atlanta club around 1 AM on March 21, 2019.

Dixon was hit after a gunman opened fire in front of the club causing the 32-year-old to be rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead, sources reveal.

Via an official statement by the Chamblee Police Department in Georgia, more information was revealed about the case.

“The Chamblee Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred this morning at 0117 a.m. at the SL Lounge at 4186 Buford Hwy. The victim, 32-year-old Clifford Dixon, had just arrived at the location and was standing in the parking lot when the offender shot him multiple times. First responders administered aid, and the victim was transported to Grady Hospital where medical staff advised that he had succumbed to his injuries. The offender fled the scene on foot. Chamblee Investigators are actively working the case and following up on all available leads.If you have any information, please call the Chamblee Police Department at 770-986-5005, and ask to speak with Lt. Chris Newberry or call Atlanta Crime Stoppers at the number below.”

Dixon and Erica ended their 10 months relationship in 2018.

Kwesi Arthur Has My Style : Lazee

Swedish born Ghanaian artiste and Chief Executive Officer of Timeless music, Mawuli Kwabla Morton Kulego known in the music space as Lazee has praised young Ghanaian BET nominee Kwesi Arthur’s style of music as unique.
According to the Swedish Grammy nominee, he will choose Kwesi Arthur over any artiste in Ghana because “I think our two styles would fit together. I’m a big fan of his music.” He said.

In an interview with the artiste who is based in Sweden, his plan in the music industry is to inspire, motivate the youth to be themselves and be better. Lazee whose father was a DJ, grew up influenced by music. He chose to do rap because; he said: “I felt that was my attitude at the time and something I could relate to.”

Sharing his experience as a black guy doing urban music in a white-dominated country he said, “Doing urban music in a white-dominated country isn’t easy but, I had no choice but to believe in myself because no one else could see my vision. It hasn’t been smooth, it’s all self-motivation.”

He has worked with Raekwon (Wu-Tang), Sean Kingston, Krayzie Bone (Bone Thugs N) Harmony, Swedish House Mafia, Prince of 4×4 and has over 500 tracks.
Lazee said “I look up to artists that’s accomplished what I trying to do. Everyone from Jay-Z, Drake, Diddy are all big inspirations for me.”
His latest song ‘Flex’ was inspired by his trip to Ghana. “It’s my first time singing in my native language which is Ga and English. So I hope the people like it.”

About Lazee.

Mawule Kulego also known artist/songwriters/songwriter from Sweden. In 2006, Lazee released his first mixtape, ‘It Is What It Is’, a collaboration with hip hop legend DJ Kay Slay (NYC). With influences from Rap, RnB, and Reggae, Lazee found a way to combine that with all the 90\s rock pop music he grew up listening to in Europe.

He quickly found his strength in writing and composing a sound that’s familiar but new. Lazee’s first single ‘Rock Away’ was an instant hit and entered the charts in the spring of 2008, before it’s even officially released. It ended up in the top 10, and rotated frequently on all major Scandinavian radio stations and Swedish MTV.

After that, his first album ‘Setting Standards’, was released. Sharing the stage with acts such as Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg, Ne-Yo, Wyclef Jean, 50 Cent and being adviced by the legendary Quincy Jones, Lazee has proved not only to be a great performer but also a great entertainer.
