LG Follows Samsung With Popular, Old Feature

Published

on

LG could follow Samsung’s lead by including a headphone jack in its upcoming G7 ThinQ, bucking the trend of the Google Pixel 2 and iPhone X.

A new image published by notorious leaker Evan Blass reveals the 3.5mm audio port on the underside of LG’s next smartphone.

This is a render and, essentially, a rumor, so nothing is confirmed. But Blass has a near-perfect record and the inclusion of the headphone jack corresponds with previous leaks.

Two of the biggest name Android phone makers now include the 3.5mm audio port (if this image is accurate), which, if like me, you’re not a fan of wireless headphones, is good news. I suspect this may not last, though. The space-saving benefits of removing arguably unnecessary components will be too hard to ignore as smartphones become more power hungry and need bigger batteries. But for now, the headphone jack lives.

LG does have from here – this year’s LG V30S included a headphone jack too. LG also managed to find a way to keep removable batteries – a feature that died years ago – in the LG G5, albeit in a slightly awkward concept.

Elsewhere the image reveals a notch at the top of the device’s display – a fashion statement made popular by Apple’s iPhone X and poorly copied by multiple Android device makers. As with other Android phones like the OnePlus 6, the G7 ThinQ will feature a bezel at the bottom of the display, which means it won’t be a true full-screen display like the iPhone X.

If these renders are accurate, then LG’s G7 ThinQ will look very similar to its 2018 Android competition, which is unusual for a company that likes to experiment with design. The leaked images do show one interesting change, though: the addition of a dedicated button. Blass doesn’t elaborate on what it’s for, but previous leaks have suggested it will be a dedicated Google Assistant button.

That would make sense considering that LG is betting big on AI by adding Google Assistant to its range of TVs and appliances. What will be interesting is if LG can make use of Assistant in a way that’s not seen elsewhere on other Android phones like greater integration into the UI or, indeed, a dedicated Assistant button.

YouTube, LLC an American video-sharing website has certified Stonebwoy’s Epistle Of Mama album two-phase; reggae & afrobeats album for clocking over 10 million-plus streams in addition to 100k subscribers on YouTube based on the company’s statistics. The endorsement came with a citation from the company.

This to me is one of the greatest achievement in the life of a reggae/dancehall artist in Ghana looking at how far the journey has been but worth traveling. It’s an eye-opener to every reggae/dancehall artists and all artists in general drawing attention to the fact that, there is a market for every music genre. The only thing is, it depends on what you’re promoting.

If we water down the whole endorsement thing from YouTube, one will be forced to ask, what will influence these unbelievable number of people jamming to an album is with so much enthusiasm? It all boils down to promoting good content, alluring storylines, explore sounds, be original, staying relevant as possible and learning more about the music business.

Sally Akua Amoakowaa Mensah

The fourth wife of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Angel Group of Companies, Sally Akua Amoakowaa Mensah is consoling herself with wise sayings after announcing her divorce to the businessman earlier this week.

The 2011 winner of TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful beauty pageant and General Manager of Angel TV announced that her marriage to Dr. Kwaku Oteng was over as reported by us.

According to her, it was as a result of a stressful situation she found herself and therefore called it quits by posting on her Instagram page only to delete it an hour later by which time it had already gone viral.

Sometimes you just have to learn how to walk away. When it’s not making you happy and it’s rather stressing you take a bow. My marriage of eight years is over.

I won’t give anyone the right to take away my happiness. I’m walking from everything that is stressing me”, she stated in the said post.

She has since refused to confirm or deny her own post but appear to be consoling herself with new posts with the latest which reads” Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.”

Sally in a recent interview professed her unflinching love for the man stating that that love is the major factor in her marriage.

She added that Dr. Oteng is one humble human being that any individual would want to hang out with so it was easy for her to say yes when he proposed marriage.

The mother of two revealed that she gave birth before marrying the Millionaire so there was no iota of truth in the hearsay that her spouse was pushed to marry her due to the pregnancy.
