Cardi B Releases ‘Hot Shit’ Enlists Kanye West And Lil Durk

Cardi B is known for her fierce and exotic demeanor, and she has returned with a vengeance. The Grammy-winning artist, who is only twenty-nine years old, has created quite a stir in the music industry. Her new album is titled “Hot Shit,” and this is the first single from it.

Cardi B teased her fans on Sunday during the BET Awards in an advertisement, saying she had something special in store for them. She announced on social media that she will be releasing a new song soon.

Cardi B posted a single artwork on her social media earlier this week, indicating that her new song would be a collaboration, and that the collaborators would most likely be Kanye West and Lil Durk. Cardi B’s final teaser for the song, which she shared on social media, showed her enjoying a champagne brunch on a terrace in New York. She was seen wearing a robe and matching head towel while eating a large breakfast.

Cardi B’s chart-topping 2021 single “Up” is followed by her most recent release, “Hot Shit.” Up spent a week at the top of Billboard’s Hot 100 in March 2021. Up’s predecessor was Cardi B’s 2020 release “Wap.” Wap was named the best summer song of all time by Rolling Stone.

Ghanaian Artist, Gyakie Drops Second Single Ahead Of Her “My Diary” EP

Gyakie has released another single, “For My Baby” just a few weeks after her first single of the year and its accompanying video.

The Flip The Music signed artist has been preparing for her “My Diary EP” release and to get fans ready for the project, she’s teasing this fluid RnB fusion ahead of the July 22nd EP release.

“For My Baby” is quite different from “Something” although they share the adored theme of love Gyakie often so beautifully depicts in her music. The Songbird’s music is often described as mellow but on “For My Baby”, she slows down even more, giving listeners a sultry RnB Highlife fusion.

The Soji production is melodic and its simplicity coupled with Gyakie’s vocals give the song an overall minimalistic and pleasant appeal: the perfect ode to your lover.

The “My Diary” EP is going to be Gyakie’s sophomore project, after her debut SEED EP. In the way the latter was symbolic as an introduction to who Gyakie is, it’s interesting to wonder what this next project will represent to the artist.
