Candice D is a Ghanain born and bread singer, a composer and an accomplished business executive who operates under stage name Candice D but christened at birth Esther Naa Maku Tawiah.

The singer born on 25-08-1992 is from a Ga and a Fante blend background and has been widely influenced by her travel across the world after she relocated to Europe to study and later fell in love with culture and discovery which fueled her passion to travel the world and learn new things.

For over a decade of keeping alive and together her dreams of doing music for mainstream.

Candice D detailed that her inspiration has been the love to communicate a message of love and hope while she showcases our rich culture, locations and unseen serene places through music.

The aesthetics back then was not much of a concern, but not anymore as she now has a deep understanding of music, how it’s made and that is evident in her works.

Currently, the established business executive is running her own record label, Royal Records, coupled with a fleet of businesses ranging from Car Rentals, real estate, Shipping and also gives back to society through the philanthropic arm of her existing endeavors.

As a standing member of Musiga, the soothing voice songstress aims at reaching the BET’s in the years to come as an honor to be done her sister Naomi Tewiah who has since 2007 paid her studio bills, has been very supportive as well as her family and friends to whom she is very grateful.

To break down her name she noted, ”Esther is is Queen and a Star. Naa stands for Queen. I was named Maku after a royal queen and the D stands for Duchess.

Candice is a royal queen from Ethiopia so settling for Candice D represents the royalty around me.” she ended.

Candice is currently promoting her new single tiled Agenda which is her second, and a follow-up to her first project, which depicted love, titled ”I’m yours”.

”Agenda” was produced by Beats DaKay while the flawless audiovisual was directed by Snares films.

Davido Exposed After Lying About Acquiring A House On Banana Island

Nigerian superstar Davido has days after revealing that he has acquired a house on Banana island worth N800million has been hit hard from sources.

In a post sighted on social media, it emerged that the house was bought by Davido but it was handed over to his crew members so they could have their privacy.

The post also revealed that the 5 bedroom house belonged to Davido’s father but Davido thought it wise to get it for his DMW crew members.

The source also explained that one of Davido crew member identified as Aloma was handed with the keys to the house but looks like some of the crew members are not pleased.

The post reads: “??? So them sey David bought a 5 bed house from his dad for the boys for some privacy at his his new Banana Island home. And since Aloma is kinda chief of staff for and David’s e**** boys. He was given the master bedroom and made in charge and now Aloma is acting like landlord all over social media This is what is vexing the dmw boys so they came to gist mama cutie. Chai! Men can gist sha. ???. But I’m still rooting for Aloma sha!

The Ghanaian Gospel industry is the verge of experiencing a new star.

In an exclusive interview on Zylofon FM with DJ Paloma this morning, D’Praise tagged himself as the next Joe Mettle after he was asked about his life experience as a gospel artist.

Talking about his latest song “Blow My Mind”, he revealed the song is about his life experience.

“From the things I have been through, the hard times, been unemployed to getting a job, leaving my own group, and more, I put up this song to encourage people that one day, God will surely come through for them”; he said.

I’m The Next Joe Mettle : D’Praise

Ghanaian gospel artist D’Praise has boldly tagged himself as the Joe Mettle.

In an exclusive interview on Zylofon FM with DJ Paloma, the “Blow My Mind” corner spoke about him going solo after leaving his popular group The Preachers.

“Joe Mettle was once part of Soul Winners but then he left and now solo. I feel we both have similar stories although there has been some up and down”; he said.

D’Praise recently released a new video for his sensational song “Blow My Mind”.
