Meghan Markle Went To Princess Eugenie’s Wedding In The Most Regal Outfit She’s Ever Worn

Published

Meghan Markle

During the first royal wedding of 2018, all eyes were on Meghan Meghan, but for the second one … alright, a lot of eyes were still on Meghan.

Markle wasn’t the blushing bride this time around (that honor goes to Princess Eugenie), but she did stand out from the crowd in royal wedding guest attire as she supported Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank. Prince Harry stood alongside her, and they looked more regal than ever. For the special day, Markle wore a navy dress and coat by Givenchy, the same design house responsible for her own wedding dress. Her hat was by Noel Stewart.

While the couple looks all dressed and ready for a day of celebration, they allegedly had to cut the festivities short. Marie Claire reports that Harry and Meghan may need to leave early because of their impending trip to Australia for their first official royal tour.

Even if they don’t make it to the reception, though, at least they came out to support cousin Eugenie anyway.

Grammy Awards 2019: Cardi B, Camila Cabello, Janelle Monae And Shawn Mendes Set To Storm Stage

Published

on

Music lovers are going to have a ball as Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Post Malone and Janelle Monae are set to storm the stage at the 2019 Grammy Awards.

Fans will be delighted to know that Shawn Mendes, Dan + Shay and Kacey Musgraves are also amongst the names of performers set to appear at the Los Angeles Staples Centre on 10 February.

It’ll surely be a night to remember for some of these artists who have not only been given an opportunity to show off their pipes but will also hopefully walk the stage again to collect an award. Good luck to them all. Camila, former Fifth Harmony singer, is up for Best Pop Solo Performance for Havana (Live), as well as for Best Pop Vocal Album for her LP, Camila.

Meanwhile, Shawn is nominated for Song of the Year for his hit In My Blood and will be having his eyes on the Best Pop Vocal Album gong, for his self-titled LP, Shawn Mendes. Of course, it wouldn’t be the Grammy’s without Cardi B who had a very, very busy 2018. The mother-of-one is a top contender as her name appears in five categories.

Up for Record of the Year for I Like It, her debut studio album Invasion Privacy is also nominated for Album of the Year as she hopes to land Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Maroon 5’s Girls Like You, Best Rap Performance for Be Careful, and Best Rap Album.

Speaking to CBS This Morning, Janelle looked stunned as the presenter told her she was up for the Album Of The Year award for her third album Dirty Computer.

‘Oh my god, really?’ she asked, tearing up. Speaking about the album, Janelle said: ‘This album is so much bigger than me…It’s not about me, it’s about a community of dirty computers, of marginalised voices.

‘Being a young, black, queer woman in America, there was something I had to say and there was a group of people that I wanted to celebrate. ‘And I just – I’m happy to be representing them. I hope they feel seen, I hope they feel heard and I hope they feel loved.’ Alicia Keys is set to host the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.

Alicia Keys will host the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, which are set to air live on CBS February 10th at 8 p.m. ET.

Keys announced the news with a short behind-the-scenes documentary, which opens with the moment when she received the phone call offering her the hosting gig. The clip also captures Keys sharing the news with her husband, Swizz Beats, and her two young kids, one of whom offers the confused response, “What’s the Grammys?”

The video also follows Keys as she shoots her first promo for the show, and it closes with her discussing why she was so excited to accept the job. “I know what it feels like to be on that stage, and I know what it feels like to be proud of the work that you’ve put in, and to be recognized for it,” Keys said. “I just feel grateful that I’m able to bring that light and that energy. This is a first – it’s a first, and it’s amazing, and I think it’s perfect timing. Honestly, I’m really excited, I feel really good about it, because I feel like it’s the perfect opportunity for me to give the light back, lift people up, especially all the young women that are nominated.”

Keys has won 15 Grammys over the course of her career, picking up her most recent trophy, Best R&B Album for Girl on Fire, in 2014. In 2002, she famously won Best New Artist while her breakout hit “Fallin’” picked up three awards, including Song of the Year.
