Nana Bediako Cheddar’s Son Rocks GH¢3.2M Richard Mille Watch To GIS Prom

The son of Ghanaian business magnate Nana Bediako Cheddar stole the show at the GIS Prom 2022 by wearing a Richard Mille wristwatch.

Ghana International School (GIS) students demonstrated class and luxury at their end-of-year prom, which was full of pomp and pageantry.

The exotic cars and attire on display may have made your jaw drop.

Cheddar’s son, on the other hand, wears a wristwatch that costs an arm and a leg in Ghana.

Our checks show the Richard Mille RM11 wrist watch which was being rocked by him is priced at a whopping GH¢3,215,685 or $191,500.

Since his father is one of the richest men in Ghana, it was not much of a surprise but the price of the watch was shocking.

The GIS Prom was strictly by invitation as students of the school partook in several activities to climax the academic year, it was a sight to behold.

Excerpts From GIS Prom 2022 After-Party That Will Blow Your Mind

The Ghana International School (GIS) is already shaping the next generation of Ghanaian and world leaders…this was depicted at their prom 2022 and after-party.

While GIS PROM 2022 was a sight to behold where exotic cars were paraded by high school students, the after-party was the icing on the cake.

The resplendent dresses the students wore, their demeanour and overall attitude spoke volumes about the quality of tuition they enjoy and how well-groomed they are for future exploits.

GIS is one of the best private schools in Ghana not just in terms of having state-of-art facilities, and well-trained teachers but also in the ability to train students who exude class and finesse wherever they find themselves.

While Nana Bediako Cheddar’s son was rocking a GH¢3.2M Richard Mille RM watch to the prom, little did we know that the GIS PROM After-Party would be better?

Excerpts from the GIS Prom after-party reveal a brighter side of the students and how well-groomed they are. The ladies showed their other side, and the gentleman were all clad in suits.

Check out some of the photos from the GIS Prom 2022 After-Party Below.

Adele Announces All-Female Concert

It’s official: Adele‘s upcoming shows at BST Hyde Park are going to be epic. One week before the 34-year-old is scheduled to perform at the London festival, she took to Twitter to reveal that an all-female lineup of artists — from Kacey Musgraves to Gabrielle — is slated to join her on her two-date run.

“The line up for my Hyde Park shows next week is going to blow your socks off!” she wrote, sharing a poster for the festival as well as a black-and-white graphic of her with some of her guest performers. “An all female bill, from new artists that I’m obsessed with to the heavenly @KaceyMusgraves to one of my favorite artists of all time @GabrielleUk who I’ve loved since I was 4!!”

Also on the docket are Mahalia, Self Esteem, Nilüfer Yanya, Tiana Major9, Chrissi, Bonnie Kemplay, Ruti and Tamzene. Right now, it’s unclear if the women will all appear on both nights of Adele’s BST run — which takes place July 1 and 2 — or if they’ll split the days.

“It’s going to be incredible, there’s a whole host of us performing all day, I can’t wait to share the main stage with you ladies,” added Adele, whose newest album 30 came out in November last year.

“On my gosh!” replied Gabrielle. “I absolutely love and adore you, I can’t wait be part of this incredible line up.”

Musgraves also took to Twitter to show her excitement for the approaching festival gig, writing: “Hyde. F—ing. Park. with @Adele and a whole day of talented women.”

BST — or British Summer Time — Hyde Park is sponsored by American Express and takes place every year across two weekends in London, kicking off Friday (June 24) with headliner Elton John and ending July 10 with Duran Duran. In between, Eagles, Pearl Jam and The Rolling Stones will join Adele in headlining different days of the festival, bringing with them their own roster of special guests (Phoebe Bridgers, Rina Sawayama, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss and Little Big Town, to name a few).

Johnny Depp Going On European Tour

Fresh off his headline-making defamation trial, Johnny Depp will be joining his Hollywood Vampires bandmates on a tour of Europe.

The band announced the six-date run, which kicks off almost exactly one year from now, on Wednesday (June 22). “The Hollywood Vampires are BACK!! We’re coming to Germany and Luxembourg Summer 2023! Tickets go on sale Monday 27 June at 11:00am CET. Keep an eye out for more to come…,” the group captioned the post on social media.

Depp, Alice CooperJoe Perry and Tommy Henriksen will kick off the tour June 20, 2023, at Rudolf-Weber Arena in Oberhausen, Germany, followed by shows in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg’s Rockhal; Olympiahalle in Munich; Stadtpark in Hamburg; Berlin’s Zitadelle Spandel; and Zitadelle Mainz in Mainz, Germany.

The embattled actor recently made a surprise appearance at a Jeff Beck concert at the end of May in London, performing their 2020 John Lennon remake “Isolation” just two days after his team of lawyers made closing arguments in his bitterly contested defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard. (Depp was ultimately awarded more than $10 million in damages by the judge, while the Aquaman actress received just $2 million in her libel countersuit.)

Days after the show, Depp and Beck announced they’d be releasing a joint album titled 18 this summer. Due July 15, the 13-track collection will feature two originals by the onetime Captain Jack Sparrow (“Sad Motherf—-in’ Parade” and “This Is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamar”) as well as covers of classic songs by The Beach Boys, Marvin Gaye, Janis Ian, The Velvet Underground and others.

Meanwhile, Hollywood Vampires most recent album was 2019’s Rise, which coincidentally also featured a guest appearance by Beck on album cut “Welcome to Bushwhackers.”
