Ohenewaa Inks A Five Year Management Deal With LifeLine Records

On Tuesday, 9/ 02/ 2021, the industry welcomed a young sizzling female act, Ohenewaa when she signed a five-year management deal with one of Ghana’s well-structured labels, Lifeline Records.

The signing which saw the gathering of almost all the guns in our entertainment space will see lifeline records handle the management, distribution, marketing, and promotion of her works in a stretch of five years.

Under lifeline records, already signed artists, Abochie and Dede Supa will welcome with an opened arms their newly signed sister, Ohenewaa who uniquely stands out with her singing prowess. Together, the trio will not only make their label proud but put Ghanaian music on its deserved pedestal.

Speaking with the media, the talented and soon to be crowned Afrobeat queen, Ohenewaa, tells her excitement and how it feels to witness a day such as this. To her, she sees lifeline records as a family, and with them, her dream to reach the international market with her music will soon materialize.

The CEO of the label, Mr. Yoofi Boham Jnr. during his media interaction explained that his attention was drawn to Ohenewaa when he heard her sing for the first time. To him, her vocal dexterity is rare and as an artiste aiming to dominate the international scene, such uniqueness is a key ingredient. Mr. Yoofi again promised his label will work hard under the five-year term making sure the dream of the artiste is realized.

Lifeline Records was established in 1997 with UBEAT as the General Manager. With a professional structure, the label has grown to be one of Ghana’s finest labels discovering and making stars over the years. Currently, they have three artists under their management. Abochie, Dede Supa, and the latest signee, Ohenewaa.

A Plus And Wife Cited In Nationality Fraud

Kwame A Plus, Musician turn politician, and his wife Akosua Vee have been cited in a Nationality fraud by a UK-based Ghanaian citizen.

The Ghanaian identified as Obaa Tiwaa in a video alleged that A Plus and his wife might be deceiving Ghanaians on the citizenship of their kids.

According to her, Akosua Vee and the children are not full citizens in Britain but the politician has been parading them as now British citizens.

Obaa Tiwaa went on to state that if it’s true that the kids are British citizens, then it means they have gotten someone who is a citizen to claim he is the father and has signed the papers which is a fraud in the country.

In the video sighted on social media, the lady is heard saying his comment has placed his wife and children in danger because they could risk losing everything in the country.

She wondered if A-Plus even thought of someone snitching on them before coming out to make such statements.

She warned A-Plus to stay in his corner and not attack Mona Gucci or any other person because he has a lot of skeleton in his cupboard that see might be forced to bring out.

Kanye West ‘Spent Whopping $13.2 Million’ On His Failed Presidential Campaign

Kanye West, American rap star reportedly spent a whopping $13.2 million including $12m of his own money on his failed Presidential bid in 2020.

The 43-year-old announced his 2020 United States presidential election campaign through Twitter on July 4, 2020, Independence Day, and on July 16, 2020, the campaign filed a Statement of Candidacy with the Federal Election Commission.

Kanye reportedly received around 57,000 votes across the 12 states in which he was in the running.

According to a new report from People, Kanye West spent an eye-watering amount of money on his failed 2020 presidential attempt.

In a Federal Election Commission report, the rapper contributed $12.5 million of his own money and raised a little over $2 million from outside contributions to fund his Presidential bid.

The reports also notes that he’d raised $14.5m for his campaign and ended it with $1.3m left in the bank.

Last week, his wife Kim Kardashian filed for divorce to end their marriage of nearly seven years.

They are seeking to split physical and legal custody of their four children (North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, Psalm, 21 months) 50/50.
