The Star-studded live music concert organised by Hiplife artiste Okyeame Kwame adds to it’s laden list new acts to thril it’s audience.

Dubbed “OK Stripped”, the annual event, will on this 3rd edition bring together patrons on 28th April 2017at the +233 Bar and Gril, Osu.

Apart from the award-winning artistes billed to perform,  organisers have listed sensationalnew acts including Kidi, CJbiggerman and Kwami Eugene
(all of MTN Hitmaker fame) alongside N.O.B and Abochi of One Mic Entertainment.

“OK Stripped”, of live music, poetry and comedy will host friends, fans and music lovers of Okyeame Kwame as they get close and personal with the artiste.

The event, according to the headliner has over the years been associated with charity, with its proceeds funding a cause of the OK Foundation.  After the previous one raised funds for Ghana’s Paralympics national team ahead the 2016 Paralympics game in Rio, this year’s will be targeted at supporting the Hepatitis B campaign in West Africancountries, a project Okyeame Kwame has hinted the public of.

Fans and music lovers have expressed unwavering expectations of the best of performances from the Rap Dacter and the listed acts.

Although it could be recalled Nigerian famous singer was bounced, another Nigerian has gotten the opportunity to have a feel of the famous place located in Osu.

According to a video shared on Instagram, the young lady revealed she had fun.

Camidoh Awarded Emerging Artiste Of The Year At The 2020 UMB GTA

The seventh annual Universal Merchant Bank Ghana Tertiary Awards (UMB GTA) hit the capital city’s National Theatre auditorium on Friday, November 13, 2020, celebrating the year’s biggest students whose lives have changed their society, through their contribution in the area of their work even though they are students.

Camidoh — one of the biggest emerging stars actually on hand though not a student — took home one of the notable category awards, after being announced as the 2020 “Emerging Artiste of the Year” at the just ended awards ceremony. Without a doubt, the year under review has been remarkable, following the successful release of his debut EP, Contingency Plan (CP).

Amassing millions of streams across all major digital platforms, and accomplishing a desired aim of results, CP has been described as the consumer’s favorite project from an emerging talent. Receiving constructive criticisms from stakeholders, “Maria” – a lead single from Camidoh’s debut EP CP debuted at #9 on Six (6) different major Afro-beats charts in the UK.

In his comfortable turf of Ghana, Camidoh’s EP made a series of appearances on local music charts curated by notable traditional media houses, including Citi FM’s “Citi Countdown – Top Ten Songs In Ghana”, “Orange FM’s Top 10 Chart”, “Adom Fm Top 20 Countdown”, “Top 10 Urban Most Played Songs” by Ghud Music (music data for Ghana Music Industry).

The events night also witnessed a host of Ghanaian musicians who were enlisted to entertain patrons on the night. Afropop musician, Camidoh, took his turn to create an energic atmosphere at the event which has been described as Africa’s biggest student’s festival.

With an alluring and enchanting catalog of Afropop and afrobeat recordings, the GB Recz and Grind Don’t Stop signed artiste performed songs that took the awards festival to a much-desired peak. Tracks such as the “For My Lover” (featuring Darko Vibes), “Maria”, “Hot Pursuit”, and others from his critically acclaimed debut EP, CP was positively accepted by the event-goers who sung lyrics during his performance.

Camidoh remains to be the ‘Grind Don’t Stop’ artist who won’t stop raising the roof for his fans.

Kamelyeon Partners With Boomplay Music To Launch “Rainbow” EP With The Media

Boomplay Music Ghana, an online music streaming platform has partnered with rising Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Kamelyeon, to officially outdoor his debut EP on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

The press soiree held at Oliver Twist Shack pulled various Music Industry gurus, Producers, Sound Engineers, Musicians and more importantly the media. The venue was packed to the rafters with many industry greats and celebrity friends who all showed up to support and congratulate him for a good job done.

“My Rainbow EP is a covenant between me and my fans…because I have been in the industry for more than fifteen years and have been through a lot but this EP will serve as the link and bond for my fans all over,” Kamelyeon said.

He reflected on the hard work he put into making this masterpiece a success that cannot be easily emulated by any of his peers.

Some of the industry gatekeepers who graced the occasion with their much-appreciated presence were the likes of Zion Felix of Zionfelix.com, Mr. Haglah of Hitz 103.9fm, popular radio host Sammy Flex, among others.

Also present were Legendary Highlife Musician Obiba Sly Collins, acclaimed beats makers JMJ, Fimfim and bloggers Blagogee, Alex Abakah and George Britton as well as Dj Sticker, Dj Manni from the UK, Joni Blaze and King Lagazee of Lagazee Sound International & Hitz 103.9fm – he was the MC for the night. Ace Publicist Elorm Beenie was also there with his BeenieWords.com Crew.

6 songs were produced for the EP by 4 Ghanaian Producers who worked with Kamelyeon on the project. Kamelyeon himself who does Sound Engineering mixed and mastered all but one song on the EP. “Rainbow” EP executively produced by 16th August, 85 Villa management (the Record Label he is signed to).

Friday, November 13 the EP will be released via Boomplay Music as well as other Digital Stores. Priority is on Boomplay Music which has partnered for the event. In lieu with the partnership, Kamelyeon will be doing some activations with the streaming company (Boomplay) and giving out some souvenirs from them as he embarks on a media tour to promote his debut EP.

Known in real life as Michael Kwame Alowonuga, Kamelyeon’s musical journey started from his early days as a youth roaming the streets of Accra, where after a number of live battles he mastered the art of weaving words to impress the mind and cause sensual feelings to the body of music lovers both home and abroad.
