President Akufo-Addo Orders IGP To Ensure 24-Hour Protection For Martin Amidu

President Nana Akufo-Addo has directed the Inspector General of Police to provide former Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu immediately with 24-hour police protection, KUBILIVE gathers.

The former Special Prosecutor Martin Alamisi Burnes Kaiser Amidu has claimed in an interview with Citi FM there are threats on his life following the release of his analysis on the Agyapa transaction.

According to him; “he tried to call Kan Dapaah, he didn’t pick it and I got a former national security advisor to contact him and tell him that, and I know the persons involved, I can name them but I reserve it for the meantime.

I put my life for the republic of Ghana and the president will be responsible for anything that happens to me”.

“The intelligence is there and I called the minister of national security but he didn’t pick and I got a former national security advisor to speak to him and this fact is now known and I say that the president will be responsible for anything that happens to me.

Reacting to the claim, Presidential Spokesperson Euegene Arhin said: “The attention of the Office of the President has been drawn to claims by Mr Martin Amidu, the former Special Prosecutor, of threats made against his life since his resignation from office.

The President has, thus, directed the Inspector General of Police to provide Mr Amidu immediately with 24-hour police protection.

“The former Special Prosecutor is also encouraged to assist the police with details of persons who have made these threats against his life so that they can be dealt with in accordance with the laws of the country”. Eugene Arhin said in a post in a Facebook.

Badu Kobi Predicts A 52.3% Win For John Mahama In 2020 Election

The 2020 elections are fast approaching and people are making last minutes predictions on who would emerge as the winner after the December 7 polls.

Men of God on the other hand are not left out as some Prophets who claim to have heard the voice of God has also revealed what was shown to them as the outcome of the elections.

For some time now, a lot of them have come out to reveal who is winning the elections while some are predicting for John Mahama and the NDC, others have also stated that Nana Akuffo Addo would be retained as the President for the second time.

With barely a week to the elections, Prophet Badu Kobi has announced his final prophecy on who would emerge as winner of the elections.

According to him, John Mahama would win the elections in the first round with him not getting not less than 52.3%.

He said: “…The votes for the 2020 elections in Ghana are for John Mahama. It is 52.3 per cent or more for John Mahama and I am saying it well for the bloggers to hear it.”

In his other prophecies, Badu Kobi revealed that the coming week is going to be a bad one for the ruling NPP as everything will turn against them spiritually and physically.

Wolves have confirmed that striker Raul Jimenez suffered a fractured skull and has undergone an operation following his head clash with David Luis against Arsenal on Sunday, November 29.

The Mexican striker was stretchered off after the head clash with Arsenal defender David Luiz and was given oxygen after the accidental incident.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7:27pm today (29 November) to reports of a person injured at Emirates Stadium on Queensland Road, Holloway.

“We sent an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer and a medic in car to the scene. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance by car.

“We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre.”

The 29-year-old was taken to a London hospital, where he was conscious and responding to treatment.

In a statement on Monday, Wolves said: “Raul is comfortable following an operation last night, which he underwent in a London hospital.

“He has since seen his partner Daniela and is now resting. He will remain under observation for a few days while he begins his recovery.

“The club ask that Raul and his family are now afforded a period of space and privacy, before any further updates are provided in due course.”

Senegal World Cup Hero, Pape Bouba Diop Dies At 42 After Battling With Long Illness

Pape Bouba Diop, a former Senegalese footballer has passed away at the age of 42.

According to reports, Bouba Diop had been suffering from a long-time illness before his death.

The midfielder became a national hero when he scored the goal which saw Senegal beat France 1-0 in their opening World Cup game in 2002.

He first arrived in English football when he joined Fulham from Lens in 2004. He later joined Portsmouth in 2007 and after a stint with AEK Athens returned to the top flight by joining West Ham in 2011.

After one season with the Hammers, he joined Birmingham City before being released in January 2013.

Diop won 63 caps for Senegal, scoring 11 goals including his historic World Cup strike.

Barthélémy Dias, the mayor of Mermoz Sacré-Cœur in Senegal paid tribute to Bouba Diop on Sunday, writing on social media: :Thank you GAINDÉ for making us dream so much.

“Your name will forever be engraved in the Football Hall of Fame alongside great legends.

“May God welcome you in his Paradise.”
