Sarkodie Is Very Stingy : Yvonne Nelson Calls Out The Rap King

Published

on

Yvonne Nelson, a Ghanaian actress and film producer, has boldly called out African rap king Sarkodie for being stingy.

In an interview with Asaase Radio, the actress bemoaned Sarkodie’s arrogance and how he refuses to help even when the request is simple.

Feli Nuna has been photographed on several media platforms with her body and hair wrapped in a white towel and wearing heels to complement her appearance.

Sarkodie, the rapper, is a very kind and benevolent person. He participates in charitable giving through the Sarkodie foundation and other channels.

The only problem is that he never does it in front of the camera, leaving social media users and Ghanaians in the dark. He expresses his kindness in a more sacred manner, believing that it is best for him and his brand.

Amber Heard Is Officially Ordered To Pay Johnny Depp $10M For Damaging His Reputation

Published

The judge in the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard defamation trial on Friday, June 24, made a jury’s award official with a written order for Heard to pay Depp $10.35 million for damaging his reputation by describing herself as a domestic abuse victim in an op-ed piece she wrote.

During a brief hearing in Fairfax County Circuit Court, Judge Penney Azcarate entered a judgment order into the court record. She also ordered Depp to pay Heard $2 million, the jury’s award on her counterclaim that Heard was defamed by one of Depp’s lawyers.

The order was a formality after the jury announced its verdict on June 1, largely siding with Depp after a sensational trial in which the couple revealed lurid details of their short marriage during a televised trial that was closely followed on social media.

Depp sued Heard over a December 2018 op-ed she wrote in The Washington Post describing herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse.” The jury found in Depp’s favor on all three of his claims relating to specific statements in the 2018 piece.

The jury found Depp should receive $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages, but the judge reduced the punitive damages award to $350,000 under a state cap.

Heard has said she plans to appeal the verdict.

During Friday’s hearing, the judge said that if Heard appeals, she must post a bond for the full amount of the $10.35 million awards while the appeal is pending. The judge’s order says both awards are subject to 6% interest per year.

She would also need to add an additional $480,000 in interest payments.

According to the Post, the judge entered Depp’s version of verdict on paper and rejected all of Heard’s proposed edits.

While Oscar winner Viola Davis, 56, hit out at the ruling, tweeting: “And so it goes….Gutted. Now more than ever we have to use our voice and power! WE the people.”

The overturning of Roe v. Wade has sent shockwaves around the globe – with chart topping star Billie Eilish taking time out of her Glastonbury headlining set on Friday night to address the drama.

The 20-year-old said: “The song we’re about to do is I think one of the favourites that we’ve written and it’s about the concept of power and how we need to always remember how not to abuse it.https://get-latest.convrse.media/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mirror.co.uk%2F3am%2Fcelebrity-news%2Ftaylor-swift-kim-kardashian-harry-27324958&cre=center&cip=17&view=web
