Sarkodie Reveals Why He Chose Such A Stage Name | WATCH
Multiple awards winning rapper, Micheal Owusu Addo known as Sarkodie has opened up on how he acquired his stage name, and indeed the reason has reflected on his personality.
The rapper stated that his father was having about three friends with the name Sarkodie and they were all rich men.
According to him, when he was young he always knew people who bear his current stage are filthy rich and that made him tap “Sarkodie” to be his craft anthem since his official name is “Micheal”.
He made this revelation during a live chat with his colleague rapper, Manifest on Instagram live.
Sarkodie after arriving in Ghana two days ago with his nuclear has been quarantine for two weeks as they steady if they have contacted the novel coronavirus.
He disclosed that locking up in the United Kingdom without movement and also having no hope of coming back to his motherland was the most difficult time in his life.
He added that being home has always been something dear to his heart so it was very difficult and applauded people who move to hustle outside the country.
