Sarkodie Tops List Of Top 50 African Rappers Of All Time As M.anifest Takes 11th Position

Ghanaian prolific rapper Micheal Owusu known by his stage name Sarkodie has topped the list of top 50 African rappers of all time so few days after making to the number 14 in the top global 50 rappers ahead of Drake, Rick Ross and others.

Tough the firm or person who made that list remains anonymous, another list have been sighted but this time ranks only African rappers.

The first position is carried by Sarkodie with the likes of MI Abanga, Ice Prince, Nasty C making the top 10.

Ghana’s M.anifest, Reggie Rockstone, Obrafour, Lord Kenya, E.L and Okyeame Kwame took the 11th, 20th, 27th, 42nd, 45th and 46th positions respectively.

Since he blew up in the music industry, singer/songwriter, King Promise, has been paired with some beautiful ladies including TV personality, Serwaa Amihere and the model from his ‘Abena’ music video.

The association with these two fair ladies has, however, raised questions on his women of choice when it comes to dating.

Speaking on Drive Time on Joy FM, the ‘Bra’ hitmaker revealed he does not discriminate between women.

“Fair, short, tall, thick, dark, it does not matter to me. Anything goes as long as we have the vibe,” he told Lexis Bill, host of the show.

The artiste also disregarded rumours he was dating the model ‘Abena’ from his music video.

He stated that he, however, understands the confusion as emotions were on display in the video.

“We were ‘lovey-dovey’ in the video because we were trying to express the emotions in the song for people to feel it,” he explained.

King Promise revealed that although he is currently single, he has no interest in dating as his focus is maximising his work output in music.

Fast-Rising Nigerian Rapper, Cameey, Dies Of Liver Cancer

Cameey, the upcoming Nigerian rapper, has died. The rapper whose real name was Joel Essoumam has been battling Cancer of the Liver for some time.

The death was announced via his Instagram page around 5:00 pm today (22nd of August, 2019) and his fans have been thrown into a state of mourning.

He had been down with Hepatitis B which later degenerated into cancer of the liver. His management announced his passing on his IG page.

The talented musician earlier announced he needed a whopping sum of N35 million to seek medical services after being diagnosed with cancer of the liver. Rumours have it that he had battled with the deadly Hepatitis B which degenerated into cancer of the liver.
