Ghanaian Musician Manuel Nonbada is caught up in an issue with Highlife Musician Oheneba Kissi about sampling his song without his knowledge or permission.

Oheneba Kissi On Hitz FM with Andy Dosty last Monday accused fast rising Ghanaian musician Manuel Nonbada of sampling lyrical content in his hit song ABC. Andy Dosty played him Everyday by Manuel Nonbada and asked if he knew about the song and also asked if he was aware of the sampling. Highlife Legend Oheneba Kissi said he didn’t even know who he is.

After the interview our crew thought it was a good idea to confront Manuel Nonbada about the incident. In a WhatsApp chat with Manuel he claimed that he had talks with Oheneba Kissi prior to producing he said. He also said that Ohenneba Kissi and his team ( Mark Okraku ) even asked him to pay an amount of money which he wouldn’t disclose.

Manuel Nonbada went on to say that Ghanaian Old Musicians are the reason why the highlife sound hasn’t gone far, because they are greedy and do not want to teach or mentor the upcoming musicians like they should have. Do you Agree with him?

Few hours after being released from jail, Shatta Wale has declared himself the Mandela of Ghana and the King. In a video shared on his social media pages, Shatta Wale is seen bragging that he has been released from the police cell and currently he is the Mandela of Ghana.

Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were both arrested on Sunday following their role in the confusion which went on at the just held Vodafone Ghana Music Award 2019.

Stonebwoy who was very angry with Shatta Wale and his fans for storming the VGMA stage uninvited when he was set to make a speech pulled a gun live on the VGMA stage.

The confusion went on for some time bringing the awards night to a halt for over an hour. Winners of some categories have not been mentioned yet.

Ghanaian actress Efia Odo says she hopes to give sex workers alternatives to earn enough income to take care of themselves.

Recall the versatile actress celebrated ‘Mothers Day’ with some commercial sex workers around the East Legon area. according to her,…. I just wanted to talk to them, vibe with them and have fun’.

Speaking in an interview on AmeyawTV Efia Odo revealed her plans to embark on a project that will give commercial sex workers alternatives to make a living.

‘I want to give them alternatives, I feel like nobody really pays attention to them or want to hear them out I wanna hear them out I wanna hear why they are doing what they are doing and if I give them the alternatives will they take it most of them said yes’ She said.

The TV and radio host further stated that she will celebrate Mothers Day with sex workers annually.
