#The13thHeadies: Full List Of Nominees

On September 24, 2019, Nigeria’s biggest and most prestigious music award show, The Headies, opened its doors to receive entries for its 13th music award with this year’s edition themed ‘The Power of A Dream’.

The year in review was announced as January 2018 and June 2019. The award show is scheduled to hold October 19th, 2019. Running for over a decade, the 13th Headies award will feature 29 unique categories in recognition of Africa’s finest artiste.

The last edition saw Nigeria’s sensational artiste, Olamide, with the highest number of nominations (10). He was closely followed by Tuface (7), Wizkid (6), Davido (4), and Clarence Peters (4).

DJ Black Coffee Confirms His Wife, Enhle Mbali Is Divorcing Him For This Reason

Popular South African entertainer, DJ Black Coffee has confirmed that his wife Enhle Mbali has filed court papers for divorce.

According to DJ Black Coffee, they’ve been having issues in their marriage for almost a year which they couldn’t settle amicably. He, however, asked for privacy as they go through the divorce process.

In a statement released on Twitter, captioned “a statement” Black Coffee said: “After much deliberation since the story of our relationship broke in public, I wish to state that we have been trying to sort our problems amicably and in private for almost a year now and it has been the most heartbreaking and challenging period. [sic]”

He further disclosed that their marital crisis is double-faced but won’t make him discuss his private life in the public, neither would it make him speak ill of ‘his’ partner or ‘his’ in-laws.

“As Mbali has stated, our priority are to protect our children at this point. [sic],” he said.

Earlier KUBILIVE reported on award-winning songwriter Akwaboah leaving Sarkcess Music label and getting signed unto another label known as O.B Empire.

The “Hye Me Bo” hitmaker in an interview disclosed that an official statement will be released soon in regards to his exit from Sarkcess Music.

Well, according to sources, Akwaboah will be enjoying a lot of benefits from his new record label.

After Akwaboah’s signing to OB Empire, he will be getting a beautiful house and a brand new Honda Accord.

The talented musician and songwriter will also have traveling opportunities each month and Clarence Peters who is a renowned Nigerian Cinematographer will be working on his videos.

Finally, an undisclosed amount of money allocated to him as part of the contract deal.

On 14th March 2016, Akwaboah was signed unto Sarkcess Music, a record label owned by BET Award winner Sarkodie.

Akwaboah can be regarded as one of Ghana’s best and talented singers, songwriters and producers.
