#The13thHeadies: Full List Of Nominees

On September 24, 2019, Nigeria’s biggest and most prestigious music award show, The Headies, opened its doors to receive entries for its 13th music award with this year’s edition themed ‘The Power of A Dream’.

The year in review was announced as January 2018 and June 2019. The award show is scheduled to hold October 19th, 2019. Running for over a decade, the 13th Headies award will feature 29 unique categories in recognition of Africa’s finest artiste.

The last edition saw Nigeria’s sensational artiste, Olamide, with the highest number of nominations (10). He was closely followed by Tuface (7), Wizkid (6), Davido (4), and Clarence Peters (4).

Davido Exposed After Lying About Acquiring A House On Banana Island

Nigerian superstar Davido has days after revealing that he has acquired a house on Banana island worth N800million has been hit hard from sources.

In a post sighted on social media, it emerged that the house was bought by Davido but it was handed over to his crew members so they could have their privacy.

The post also revealed that the 5 bedroom house belonged to Davido’s father but Davido thought it wise to get it for his DMW crew members.

The source also explained that one of Davido crew member identified as Aloma was handed with the keys to the house but looks like some of the crew members are not pleased.

The post reads: “??? So them sey David bought a 5 bed house from his dad for the boys for some privacy at his his new Banana Island home. And since Aloma is kinda chief of staff for and David’s e**** boys. He was given the master bedroom and made in charge and now Aloma is acting like landlord all over social media This is what is vexing the dmw boys so they came to gist mama cutie. Chai! Men can gist sha. ???. But I’m still rooting for Aloma sha!

Blow My Mind Song Is About My Life : D’Praise

The Ghanaian Gospel industry is the verge of experiencing a new star.

In an exclusive interview on Zylofon FM with DJ Paloma this morning, D’Praise tagged himself as the next Joe Mettle after he was asked about his life experience as a gospel artist.

Talking about his latest song “Blow My Mind”, he revealed the song is about his life experience.

“From the things I have been through, the hard times, been unemployed to getting a job, leaving my own group, and more, I put up this song to encourage people that one day, God will surely come through for them”; he said.

I’m The Next Joe Mettle : D’Praise

Ghanaian gospel artist D’Praise has boldly tagged himself as the Joe Mettle.

In an exclusive interview on Zylofon FM with DJ Paloma, the “Blow My Mind” corner spoke about him going solo after leaving his popular group The Preachers.

“Joe Mettle was once part of Soul Winners but then he left and now solo. I feel we both have similar stories although there has been some up and down”; he said.

D’Praise recently released a new video for his sensational song “Blow My Mind”.
