“They Live In A Different Ghana” : Reactions To Lavish Prom By GIS Students

Ghana International School (GIS) students appear to be living in and enjoying a different Ghana than what ordinary Ghanaians are served.

These are some of the reactions to the lavish prom held for the school’s final year students.

Ghana International School is a top-tier private school in Ghana that charges exorbitant tuition fees and only accepts students from well-to-do families.

They use an international curriculum, such as the Cambridge baccalaureate, which allows their students to easily transition into the global education system.

As a top private school that draws students from all over the world, the pomp and pageantry displayed at their prom was a huge testament to the wealth and riches that these students drool over.

These students can be seen exiting Limousines, Bentleys, Bugattis, G-Wagons, and Rolls Royces in the exclusive video that has been made available.

The suits and gowns worn by the ladies and gentlemen respectively exuded class; they will leave you speechless.

The students appeared to be extraordinary and far removed from Ghanaians’ daily struggles.

The video has generated a conversation about the economic segregation of Ghana and how the rich keep getting rich.

Watch the video below.
