Top Musicians Who Don’t Ride On Social Media Hype In Ghana



Social media controversies have been on the rise since the comeback of dancehall artiste Shatta Wale. The building of the industry is in motion as it has witnessed different artists such as Medikal, Strongman, Sista Afia, Freda Rhymz, Sister Debby, and more beef themselves in order to stay relevant and gain attention.

But from our research, we have come to realize not all artists engage themselves in beef to stay relevant.

We have then identified 5 top artists who don’t ride on social media hype to be called the best.


R2Bees is a Ghanaian music group made of two cousins famously known as Mugeez and Paedae. Coming into the limelight in 2008 with their first hit “Yawa Gal” the duo followed up with hits after hits such as I Dey Mad, Kiss Your Hand, Radio, and more. The tema based group in 2013 grabbed a nomination at the BET awards. The duo has about two albums in their name as they have stayed relevant since without beefing any artist.


Eazzy, Ghanaian singer has been very relevant in the music industry from the start of her music career to now. The songstress in her music journey gave the best to her fans, Ghanaians, and the world. She revealed her first album Twinkle in 2010. The multi-award-winning songstress has been relevant since coming into the limelight, holding numerous awards such Best Female Video of the year 4syte TV awards, Best Storyline of the year 4syte TV awards, Fashion Icon of the year( Kids Choice Awards), to mention a few. Her style, plan, and flow have credited her with huge hits like Wengeze, Kpakposhito, Forever, and more. Eazzy was featured on the BBC during her UK media tour in 2019 as she spoke about her musical journey. Her relevancy in the industry has been incredible.

Joey B

Joey B is a Ghanaian versatile artist who realized his musical talent at age 6. The music star from the start of his career as a ghostwriter for his peeps as he had worked with labels such as Skillions, Black Avenue Muzik as well as working with famous producer Hammer. Joey became more popular after his release of Tonga which featured BET winner Sarkodie and followed up with more such as Strawberry and more. He has worked with likes of Stonebowy, Medikal, EL, Pappy Kojo, Fuse ODG, Eazzy, and more. His unique style and relevancy drew the attention of Roc Nation’s signed artist Vic Mensa revealing his interest to work with him. He has also help rising music group La Mem Gang into being seen as a promising group for the country.

Kofi Kinaata

Kofi Kinaata, Ghanaian rapper, crowned Fante music King kicked off his career through a battle on Melody FM Kasahari show as he became the first runner up. Through his music journey, he got signed to Samini’s High Grade Family record label as he released hits such as Susuka, Confession, a few to mention. Due to relevancy, he pulled up a big concert in Tadi headlined “Made In Tadi” which had various artists such as Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, DopeNation, Medikal and more perform. His release of Things Fall Apart single topped charts on iTunes, Audiomack, and Boomplay as it followed up with lots of radio play. The artist although parting way with High Grade Family still showed respect for every artist across the country as he has beefed anyone.


Adina, Ghanaian female songstress made it to our list due to her relevancy in the industry and hardwork. Emerging as the winner of Stars Of The Future Reality show, her famous single “Too Late” has won 2 awards at Ghana Music Awards. Her release of songs has been very well-planned making it very pleasant our ears. She completed Central University where she obtained a degree in Environmental and Development Studies. She has a very good record of not having any misunderstanding with any artist and doesn’t ride on hypes to be who she is. She has a recent song with Stonebwoy “Take Care Of You”, which is making waves.

People Don’t Understand Why I’m Still Succeeding, I’m Not From This World : Kelvyn Boy Brags



Kelvynboy has taken to social media to brag and throw heavy shades at someone we don’t know but with no doubt might be directed at Stonebwoy, his former boss.

On Twitter, the ‘Anada Anada, lie lie’ catchphrase originator declared that people -likely his haters- keep wondering why he is still succeeding in life.

And if they care to know why, “he’s not from this world”.. Kelvynboy said. The afrobeat sensation bragging on social media has caught fans attention, some have blasted him.

Taking to twitter he wrote; “Niggas don’t understand why I still Dey succeed Thinking face I’m not from this world just know that !!.”

Since Kelvynboy broke free from Bhim Nation and having his way through the music industry to become one of the solid forces to reckon with in the Ghanaian Music Industry.

Evidently, the singer has time and again bragged about his craft and money subtly throwing shades at haters who now Stonebwoy can be said to be a part of them, supposedly.

His tweet has garnered massive reactions from some tweeps. One Kojo Poundz who seemed angry at Kelvynboy commented with insults.

He wrote; “Sia common Range wey you buy wey dey make you feel sey you be alien nu Comot make we think”.

Kelvynboy was in the news some time ago following an accident he was involved in. The ‘Mea’ Hitmaker scratched his newly customized Range Rover with another person’s car as he drove past him.

Don Elvi Shows Gratitude To God and Fans In New Single “Thanksgiving”



Don Elvi, Corazon Entertainment signee and Frontline artist known for producing back to back hits such as Balling, Big Drip, and later releases Believe EP to motivate the street.

The rapper on his next project switched from Hip-Hop to Afro-Gospel song. Titled “Thanksgiving” the new song is a gratitude to God and his fans based on his struggles, hustle and how far he has gotten in his music career.

Nengi Reveals The Special Feelings She Has For Laycon



The 3rd runner up of BBNaija season 5, Rebecca ‘Nengi’ Hampson has revealed the feelings she had for Laycon during their stay in the lockdown house.

Laycon and Nengi became a thing in the closing stages of the show as they were mostly seen together playing and conversing. One thing that gave a different person about them is their erotic dance sessions at the sound of music in biggie’s house.

In an interview with Ebuka, he inquired from Nengi the type of relationship with Laycon and how they become so close to the extent he could touch her whenever they danced together.

She replied that she feels comfortable with Laycon on the dancefloor and that he dances with her just the way she likes it.

“I just like Laycon kind of person, I just like the fact that when we go to the party he can dance with me. I feel like he dances the kind of dance I like to dance.
