Former employers of controversial comedienne and TV Host, Afia Schwarzenegger, TV Africa, has debunked allegations that they owe her an amount of GHS 16,000.00.

According to TV Africa, there a was a breach in their contract with Afia, a situation, which led to her termination. The breach in contract was as a result of Afia using social media platforms to announce her resignation from the station.

“it is important to note however, that per her contract, Valentina had to give a one-month notice to management as a condition that needed to be fulfilled before she could abrogate her services. But this she clearly flouted”, management said.

Management also revealed that attempts to get Afia to resolve the matter at hand proved futile.

According to them, a letter dated January 21, 2019, to Valentina Agyeiwaa stipulating the “rules of engagement” for both parties to resolve the situation went unanswered. Calls were also left answered nor returned.

Management however mentioned that a brand new black Hyundai Tucson (4×4) that belonging to the station but in the possession of Afia should be returned before any any outstanding finances are settled.

Reacting to this, Afia has taken to social media to state that she is not returning the car until she receives her outstanding salary.

Afia’s brawl with management of TV Africa started when she was asked to retract a statement she made on one of her shows “POLITICAL POLICE” which did not resonate appropriately with the editorial policy of the station.

Afia however refused to honor the editor’s request and chose to leave.
