THE SIDE STORY OF GAOSO OMANHENE – NANA KWASI BOSOMPRA
On the 6th of August 2021, an interview was organized by Genesis Radio with the Chief of Goaso Omanhene Nana Kwasi Bosompra with Oman Nana as the host.

The host asked Goaso Omanhene whether the Goaso main road is under any documented Contract or not? Nana Kwasi Bosompra (Goaso Omanhene) replied by stating that, truth be told and he believes in God, therefore only truth will lead him to his demise, the contractor has not been assigned by any written agreement (contract) or document. Goaso Omanhene stated again that is not because of President Nana Addo Dankwa Visitation to the Ahafo region on the Thursday 12th of August 2021 is the reason why the constructors have brought machines to commence the Goaso main road as it was rumored.

Goaso Omanhene said he rather thought the main road is under the care of Highways and the truth is that highways don’t even have an office in the regional capital of Ahafo Region – Goaso not to talk of the Highways preparing any document or drawings of the road to the ministry of roads for the amount to commence the said dilapidated Goaso main hospital road.

It was rumored that the constructors started the road because of the President’s visitation to the region so some of the youth have decided to demonstrate and burn their machines in case the contractor stop after the president’s visitation.

Goaso Omanhene is then pleading with the youth to take patient because he has taken the town at heart, and will have a discussion with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to put the construction under contract.

Enjoy the interview below:

Why people think the road is not under any contract:
The President toured Ahafo Region on Saturday, September 12th, 2020, with an inspection of ongoing construction works on the Techire-Adrobea road, he paid a courtesy call on Omanhene of Duayaw Nkwanta, and he inspected the construction of an Astroturf in Duayaw Nkwanta in the Tano North constituency.

He continues to Techimantia for a sod cut of the Bechem-Techimantia-Akomadan road. The President then also commissioned a Business Resource Centre and inspects the construction of the Regional Education Directorate at Bechem in the Tano South constituency. At Kenyasi, in the Asutifi North constituency, the President commissioned a 68-bed ward, a Doctor’s accommodation, and a children’s ward at the Kenyasi Government Hospital. He inaugurated the Regional House of Chiefs at Goaso in the Asunafo North constituency.

The final day of the President’s visit began at Hwediem where he paid a courtesy call on the Omanhene of Hwediem and did an inspection of projects at Hwediem SHS. He then visited the Palace of the Omanhene of Goaso, and commissioned a Business Resource Centre, and also cut sod for the construction of the Regional House of Chiefs complex before departing to Dadiesoaba, in the Asutifi South constituency, to commission a Maternity ward at the Health Centre.

At Mim, in the Asunafo North constituency, President Akufo-Addo cut sod for a 30-bed Polyclinic, after a brief call on the Omanhene of Mim. He also cut the sod for a Zoomlion Waste Processing Plant at Akrodie Junction and commissioned a newly constructed District Administration Block for the Asunafo South District Assembly at Kukuom.

He inspected the progress of work on the Noberkaw-Sankore road project in Sankore that acme his tour of the three regions.

CONCLUSION

Based on the research and analysis made, the Goaso main road wasn’t captured in the Present antennary when the president visited on 12th of September,2020 but instead, before that said date the contractor commenced work on the road and left immediately after the presidential visit. On the eleventh month that is from September 2020 to August 2021, the contractor commenced work after getting known of the President’s visit on the 12th and 13th of August 2021.

A princess is set to make a £730,000 payment to give up her royal status in order to marry her university classmate.

The wedding was put off after reports of a financial dispute between Mr Komuro’s mother and her former fiancé.

It has now been reported that the government is set to agree that the princess foregoes the payment, worth up to 150 million yen, for royals giving up their status to marry commoners, according to Reuters.

Japanese public broadcaster NHK is reporting that the wedding date could be announced as early as next month.

Media have said the couple – who met while studying at the International Christian University in Tokyo – plan to live in the United States.

Under Japan’s males-only royal succession law, female members of the imperial family lose their status on marrying commoners.

Princess Mako of Akishino is one of Japan’s most popular and fashionable royals and has been likened to Kate Middleton.

In Japan, she is rarely out of the public eye, but for a year she disguised herself as a regular student at the University of Leicester.

We May Take Legal Action Against T’di Woman For Wasting Our Resources : Police

Published

on

The Ghana Police Service has betokened that it is likely to take legal action against the woman who faked her pregnancy and kidnapping in Takoradi, Josephine Mensah Panyin Simson.

The police might take this action because the woman led them (the entire security service) on a meaningless chase over a feigned abduction and pregnancy case, she wasted their resources.

Acting Director-General in charge of Public Affairs at the Ghana Police Service, ACP Kwesi Ofori made these statements in an interview on Accra based Citi FM.

However, said the woman’s prosecution might happen soon.

“We are looking at the development closely and there is a greater possibility that she might appear before the court because she manufactured all these things with a figment of her own imagination and put the police into business.

And we deployed a 40-member search team and even when we located her through public assistance, we took her to the hospital with policemen providing security and where she claimed to have attended antenatal clinics, it turned out to be false.

We went in for a second opinion and got a team of doctors to work on her.

The police also placed an Assistant Commissioner of Police who is a criminal phycologist at her disposal who travelled from Accra to Takoradi and our Head of Counselling Department also went to Takoradi to assess her and offer assistance.

So if you quantify all these things, it is a big investment, but the police will continue to offer good support to our people and offer assistance.”
